Idea/Ideia: Refrigerator shared between neighbors | Geladeira compartilhada entre vizinhos [EN/PT]
A recent trend in Brazil is the creation of mini-markets in condominiums, installed in the common areas of buildings, without attendants and entirely self-service. To prevent theft, in addition to relying on good behavior, they install strategically positioned surveillance cameras.
I've never used one, and where I live they haven't installed them yet, but I believe their use is facilitated by mobile phone apps. I remembered that in the past, neighbors exchanged ingredients and food more frequently; in movies, there were always those scenes with people carrying cups of sugar or flour going from one door to another.
Taking advantage of the Challenge: Drawing (almost) every day on iPad, I made this sketch of a possible shared refrigerator for condominiums or neighborhoods, preferably organized by a mobile app or messenger groups, controlling eventual locks in the style of the CoFridge. This way, neighbors can revive the habit of exchanging dishes and offer tasting prepared recipes, avoiding leftovers and waste.
Just like the autonomous mini-markets, the pandemic of years ago must have accelerated this practicality, which is when initiatives like the solidarity refrigerators also emerged, including here in São Paulo state, in these cases to help people in need. Before this, there were already initiatives like the one mentioned in this news story: Student creates shared refrigerator that supplies the Unesp campus in Bauru (in Portuguese). Others that can inspire and serve as a reference are the community refrigerators of the Hubbub, Change X and Freedge networks.
For those who enjoy cooking, I've also published recipes I made myself in Tapioca (Brazilian Cassava Starch Pancakes/Tacos) and Sweet and Sour Cucumber Salad, and I've also drawn in Japanese baker and Fleischmann yeast course that my family owned a bakery, being able to share homemade food more easily can also be rewarding and fun.

Uma tendência recente no Brasil são os minimercados em condomínios, instalados nas áreas comuns dos prédios, sem atendentes e totalmente auto serviço. Para evitar roubos, além de confiar no bom comportamento, instalam câmaras de vigilância posicionadas estrategicamente.
Nunca usei e onde moro ainda não colocaram mas acredito que o uso é facilitado por aplicativos de celular. Lembrei que antigamente os vizinhos trocavam ingredientes e alimentos com mais frequência, nos filmes sempre apareciam aquelas cenas com pessoas segurando xícaras de açúcar ou farinha indo de uma porta para outra.
Aproveitando o Desafio: Desenhando (quase) todo dia no iPad, fiz este esboço de uma possível geladeira compartilhada para condomínios ou vizinhança, preferencialmente organizada por aplicativo mobile ou grupos no Whatsapp, controlando eventuais cadeados no estilo da CoFridge. Assim vizinhos podem voltar a trocar pratos e degustação de receitas prontas, evitando sobras e desperdício.
Assim como os mercadinhos autônomos, a pandemia de anos atrás deve ter acelerado esta praticidade, foi quando surgiu tb iniciativas como as geladeiras solidárias, inclusive em São Paulo, nestes casos para ajudar pessoas em dificuldade. Antes disso já havia iniciativas como a desta notícia: Estudante cria geladeira compartilhada que abastece campus da Unesp em Bauru. Outras que podem inspirar e servir de referência são as geladeiras comunitárias das redes Hubbub, Change X e Freedge.
Para quem gosta de cozinhar, eu mesmo publiquei receitas que fiz em Tapioca e Salada de pepino agridoce, também desenhei em Japonês padeiro e o curso do fermento Fleischmann que minha família tinha uma padaria, poder compartilhar comida caseira mais facilmente tb pode ser gratificante e divertido.
