Meta Quest Store stopped working for me. Buying a VR app, gives me an unspecified error. How can a trillion-dollar company have a broken web shop?

Wollte nach langer Zeit wieder mal eine VR-App, einen Drohnen-Simulator in VR, ausprobieren, aber bekomme beim Checkout vom Meta Quest Store immer eine unspezifische Fehlermeldung, wenn ich versuche die App zu kaufen.

Der Fehler besteht bereits seit mehreren Tagen und da es sich um einen unspezifizierten Fehler ohne Fehler-Code handelt, weiß ich auch nicht, was das Problem genau ist.

Habe in der Zwischenzeit nach mühsamer Suche ein Support Ticket (Chat) geöffnet und bin gespannt, ob der Fehler gelöst werden kann. Der Chat fühlt sich allerdings so an, als würde man mit einer KI chatten. Bin gespannt, ob die KI das Problem lösen kann. Meine Hoffnung ist minimal.

Was sagt ihr dazu? Wie kann eine Billionen-Dollar-Firma einen nicht funktionierenden Web-Shop haben und nur generische Fehlermeldungen ohne Fehlercode ausgeben?

After a long time, I wanted to try out a new VR app, a drone simulator in VR, but when I try to purchase the app from the Meta Quest Store, I always get a non-specific error message at checkout.

The error has been occurring for several days now, and since it is a non-specific error without an error code, I don't know exactly what the problem is.

In the meantime, after a tedious search, I opened a support ticket (chat) and am curious to see if the error can be resolved. However, the chat feels like chatting with an AI. I'm curious to see if the AI can solve the problem. My hope is minimal.

What do you think? How can a trillion-dollar company have a broken web store and only return generic error messages?

Sie wollen vielleicht nur testen, wie groß der potentielle Markt ist. Dafür reicht ein Fake-Shop.

Haha, denke der Markt dütfte im Moment sehr überschaubar sein, vermutlich wird der Shop auch kaum genutzt, da fällt es kaum auf, ob der Shop geht oder nicht.

I haven't used this technology myself yet, but I've heard a lot from people, so I'm trying to buy and use it in the future.

I would think that they would fix the web store asap because that would affect revenue, but I guess they aren't thinking properly.
