Als Besonderheit, Feature, zeigen die klimatisierten S-Bahn-Züge (Cercanías) in Madrid die Außentemperatur an, damit man sich auf die Hitze beim Verlassen des Wagons einstellen kann. Witzig.

When I as in Madrid, it has been above 100 F every day during the daytime, in the shade. In this climate, you have to learn to cope with the heat and, ideally, avoid the intense afternoon heat in the first place. As a special feature, the air-conditioned commuter trains (called Cercanías) in Madrid display the outside temperature so that passengers can prepare for the heat when they exit the train. How funny.
