Nature has spread its beautiful lap to welcome you
The trees sway, kissing and receiving your gifts
The birds continuously sing to entertain you,
And speak sweet words day and night to make you smile
The lamps of the stars are slowly fading,
As if showing the way, devoid of affection
The silent groves have become vocal, hearing your deep resonance
The intoxicated thirsty ones become even more restless after drinking from you.
How many streams have shown you their hearts,
But your deep ocean of sorrow is not filled by them
For whom is this incessant weeping, like a sorrowful melody?
Why do you scatter your tearful heart in these barren lands?
