Our voices!
Our voices were trying to say something to us
Then something echoed, like a sob
Finally, that too slowly faded away,
leaving behind a silent noise
This whole story is very complicated, very long
Everyone has a different fatigue
Every sorrow has an incredible counter,
Which takes the place of our absent words
The sorrow is as much in the heart as it is in the worn body
No, much more so in this carefree, torn society
We must step aside and invent our own lost words
Which may come in distorted form, bloodied,
But they are ours, as if they were yesterday
We will recognize them anyway
In our stammering, in anger, in the night vigils
They stood there fearlessly
We sometimes see them in our morning dreams
There are tear stains on their faces
We will recognize them
Amidst all the hunting, Despite all the tales
Despite all the terrifying magic, all the intoxication,
they were our voices
They must still be in trouble, just like us,
Somewhere in their own inventions
And we must believe that
we will find them, because we need them
For our rebirth,
For a little light, a little clear sky,
For the rights of human beings
They were there
They will be there, in our forests, in our children, in our homes, in our hopes,
Like wind and water...
Thank you so much for reading. Have a great day 😊🙏 @vikbuddy
