Foundation
The silent prayer of the foundation
Buried in the depths of the earth,
it seeks no cheers,
it asks for no light,
it expects no gratitude
It stands there
where the sky doesn't paint a picture,
where the sun's rays don't reach,
yet it holds up,
the strength of the entire structure
The foundation doesn't repeat
its heat, its anguish neither the sun
nor the rain, nor the blows of cold.
But does the peak know
the fundamental truth of its glory?
It knows only
its heights, its achievements
It remains the pivot point of vision,
gradually becoming unaware of the depth of its own weight.
Whenever the earth shook,
whenever the mountains trembled,
winds shifted direction,
and balance was shaken
then the first blame fell on the foundation
Yet the foundation remained silent
this was its duty, its vow of stability
It knows, that only those connected to the earth must bear the entire burden of truth
