I remember this game like it was yesterday! In fact, the PS1 and PS2 versions of Army Men became some of my favorite third-person shooters at the time. It's a shame the franchise didn't continue and adapt to modern times. So good! What memories!

Yeah, it looks like they were releasing these games for more than a decade and there were a bunch of them. The last console game in the series was Army Men: Soldiers of Misfortune which came out in 2010 for the PS2, Wii and DS. After that, it looks like they went mobile, or tried to. There was an Army Men: Toy Wars that was originally released in 2017 for Android and iPhone. It was subsequently renamed just TOY WARS (maybe they lost the Army Men license?) and it looks like it is still available.
There was also a fan made Army Men III that was started and never finished (though it made it at least to beta).
