Social Media Challenge - Elves Bloodline - Getting The Job Done
Prelude
Good day to all, hope that you are doing well, strengthening your collection and looking at how to better your gameplay with each day. Conclave Arcana has brought about a new revamp to the gameplay with tougher predictability due to the release of bloodline. I have enjoyed playing the modern gameplay ever since foundation cards were released and I also got for myself some Conclave Arcana cards.
Bloodline Dominion has significantly changed our gameplay. And the abilities that come about with the Archons that have Bloodline Dominion will somehow define the Bloodline. Today, we will look more into the elves bloodline.
Elf Bloodline
This is the archon for Elf that can also be gotten in the starter packs. Main ability is that she reduces the magic attack from opponent. Next will be the Bloodline Dominion ability which is execute. What execute does is to land an additional attack on cards that are on 2 health or less after a successful attack. This will mean that if opponent's card is currently at 4 health and if you strike with a card that can deal 2 damage, there will be a follow through attack which will be able to take out the card that took the damage from your card. If you have a whole lineup of elves, everyone of them will have execute. And imagine if you have double strike, it is effectively 4 hits. A real nice ability that can really punish your opponents and get the job done quickly.
So let's get right into the match.

Selection Analysis
We have only 3 splinters available for selection - Water, Earth and Life. So far I only have Conclave Arcana summoner for Water and Earth, so might as well go with something that I have. And with that, I went for Earth and focus on Elves to capitalize the bloodline dominion ability.
So here is my selection of the lineup. I've chosen to go with Kaylia Silverleaf from Elf Bloodline. This summoner will reduce 1 magic from opponent's line up and give all elves execute ability which is really good as mentioned above. With a high mana match, I am expecting loads of magic cards to be fielded, so I fielded Warborn Chieftain as a tank to phase off magic attacks and to debuff any card that it strikes with dispel. In 2nd position is Thanalorian Blade which has opportunity, this will build on to the execute ability given to it since it will be hunting for low health cards, while in Equalizer Ruleset it might not be as useful since everyone has same health, but on normal days, it is crazy. Next card is Black Moor Wild Elf which has 2 magic attack and camouflage. Next in line is Silverleaf ranger which has 2 range attacks and double strike, with only downside of weary which could cause her to miss some turns but when she hits, it is going to be painful. Following which will be Thanalorian Arccher which has lookout and reduces damage from sneak, opportunity and snipe. Finally will be Silverleaf Mage whom has taunt and having 3 range attacks to round off the lineup.
On my opponent end, my opponent used Prunda Undervesch that is a dual splinter summoner that can get cards from Life and Water Splinter. Opponent started with Janni Rebel which has flank and also inspire which is a good buff for opponent's melee cards. Another tank follow suit in Commander Slade which gets shielded by Janni which is one my favourite tanks when I use Water Splinter. Nimbledook Explorer is next that gives additional armour buff to opponent line and work hand in hand with Archer Koi which is next in the lineup to repair armour. Te next card is Chaos Battle Mage which has large range damage and also piercing. And last but no least, Shock Trooper for the high risk high reward 4 magic attack that can take out many card easily.
2 very different variant of lineup with me trying to capitalize Bloodline Domonion for elves. How much impact will that give me? Let's see how thing go in the match.
Round by Round Synopsis
Round 1 - A round full of exchanges but no real casualties. Warborn Chieftain did manage to dispel the buff on Janni Rebel while Commander Slade hit me real hard. Let's continue to see how things unfold.
Round 2 - Things are getting a little tougher with the big hits landing on Warborn Chieftain, killing it in the process and now it will be a little tougher for me to handle that massive bombardment.
Round 3 - Things got worse with Thanalorian Blade also falling to the barrage. But secretly, my cards are shaving off their backline a lot more with each round and we will see how fast we can catch up. Janni Rebel was another victim and now we face Commander Slade head on.
Round 4 - Tide is reversing with my lineup clearing the 2 biggest hitter on my opponent end and now, it will be how long my cards can hold and clear the scraps with the execute. We are now 1 card advantage over my opponent.
Round 5-8 - It has been exchange after exchange of damage with hits striking my opponent cards as their health drops to the danger zone of 2 health where the execute accelerates everything as we keep to the 4 cards and clear off opponent lineup.
Battle Summary
While the equalizer made it a little tougher to reap the effects of execute, it is still a very viable ability that is given to elves because of bloodline dominion. Any cards that go low are in danger of being cleared off with ease by the additional attack. Thankfully I already got a good collection of elves that allow me to benefit from this bloodline ability given by the Archon. This ability had helped me over man battles and I really hope to continue strengthening my cards and getting more elves to fit more rulesets selection.
