PIZZA 2 Brawl Report - 20 Dec 2025

Greetings everyone, we have just stepped into weekend and the latest brawl which my guild PIZZA 2 participated in had ended just about a few days ago and it is time again to look at how our guild did for this brawl on all aspects such as a guild, individually how each of the brawl matches went for me and the thoughts and decisions made behind how I setup each lineup against all the opponents that I am facing in the brawl and how I adjusted each lineup to we get the most out of each ruleset. Apologies, haven't been updating on brawls as I am currently out of my home country and out sightseeing.

Right now my focus and fray to be competing in will be the ones with Conclave Arcana and Rebellion which is either fray 4 or 5. I started gathering more Conclave Arcana and Rebellion cards so as to strengthen my modern ranked battle games and at the same time, will allow me more versatility to handle each ruleset and hopefully these cards can help me a little in the brawls. To consistently remind myself, I cannot be just using the same old cards at the same level without growth as other players will grow and become stronger. So let's get right on with the brawl report.

Brawl 1

	Remarks
Selection:	Melee Mayhem and Fire and Regret. Simple thing is to not field any range attackers and melee now can go on rampage and be fielded anyway I liked. For me this time, I went with Life Splinter and use a whole array of cards and also not get into trouble with thorns due to archon main ability. Marisol is being used here to do up the Gladius growth and let's see how it smashes through.
Outcome:	Win! Opponent did have an array of attacks, but I have my healer and armour repair. So with this two in the game, loads of stuff are being refreshed and we manage to pull off the win.

Brawl 2

	Remarks
Selection:	Shapeshift Happens, Armoured Up and Blood and Sunder. This is an interesting as long as I pick blood line archon, effectively I can pick my whole collection because every card will be treated as the same bloodline. This will be fun, so I use life splinter for the deflect and shield. And the cards that I picked come in all sorts, there are healers, melee attack boosters, taunter, attack halver. You name it, we got it. And I even have Commander Slade to be the tank.
Outcome:	Win! I guess my opponent collection is a little thin and he is not using bloodline archon, so it cannot make use of the advantage. Against a massive lineup like mine, opponent had no chance.

Brawl 3

	Remarks
Selection:	Fog of War, keep your distance and healed out. To be honest, when I see such a combination of ruleset, I was a little taken aback what to place. Because of no melee, I cannot place Quora and there I go with Jini Guise and a bunch of elves with execution hoping to win the battle.
Outcome:	Win! Interesting selection from my opponent whom managed to scare me a little but it was the execute ability and the archon -1 magic that made the difference.

Brawl 4

	Remarks
Selection:	Back to basics, four's a crowd and thick skinned. When I see this, I know I need to use my Commander Slade at the front and having a bunch of magic and range attackers at the	back to push some damage through. And on hind sight, should have picked Shock Trooper.
Outcome:	Win! Didn't pick the beneficiary of such ruleset, but still manage to win with some heavy duty magic and range damage that make it hard for opponent.

Guild Final Tally

This brawl I am assigned 6 matches and I managed to win all 6 of them (including 2 escaped opponents) and additional 3 wins from unfilled frays. And once again, a clean sweep secured which really pleases me and I will not be complacent and will continue working hard to make better collection to have more ready cards for battle.

With only 4 participants, to get higher ranking is a totally uphill battle to get more wins. At 32 wins, it is already an average of 8 wins per participant. Let's continue to hope our old friends will participate. Go PIZZA 2!

Closing
Fewer people participate within the guild for a 2 brawls which is consistent worrying sign. Hopefully regulars can come back to brawling and bring us back to a higher ranking.
