PIZZA 2 Brawl Report - 19 Sep 2025

Greetings everyone, how are you doing as we draw a close to the week and getting ready for the weekend. The latest brawl which my guild PIZZA 2 participated in had ended a couple of hours ago and it is time again to look at how our guild did for this brawl on all aspects such as a guild, individually how each of the brawl matches went for me and the thoughts and decisions made behind how I setup each lineup against all the opponents that I am facing in the brawl and how I adjusted each lineup to we get the most out of each ruleset. Glad to be back in momentum and competing in the brawls.

Right now my focus and fray to be competing in will be the ones with Conclave Arcana and Rebellion which is either fray 3 or 4. I started gathering more Conclave Arcana and Rebellion cards so as to strengthen my modern ranked battle games and at the same time, will allow me more versatility to handle each ruleset and hopefully these cards can help me a little in the brawls. To also remind myself, I will also need to continue building up my collection and levelling them up. So let's get right on with the brawl report.

Brawl 1

Remarks
Selection:Up close and personal, equal opportunity and high five. The mana available is not a lot and there is no earth splinter, so for me I thought to suit this kind of lineup, fire would do me better since it is melee heavy and so I put up a fire lineup with 2 armour from the archon and also prepared an ambush and Tatiana Blayde to be the main bruiser.
Outcome:Win! Opponent only had 2 card fielded so definitely advantage is on our end as we put sufficient pressure from all directions and ensure Marisol does not grow big and just clear out all my cards. Nice win with multiple cards functioning in melee strikes to ensure we contain what we are facing.

Remarks
Selection:Going the distance, are you not entertained and fog of war. This is a simple decision as we will definitely be fielding cards that not only have range attack but also others such as the likes of Tatiana Blayde and Thraghun where both can strike really hard and the remaining mana can only allow us a smaller cards to fill up including Whistling Damon.
Outcome:Win!. In terms of quality of range attackers, I had a much stronger lineup with 2 cards that have dual attacks and making use of that advantage to clear off my opponent's lineup fast but my opponent's gladius card also gave me a little headache as it was able to clear one card per turn turning back sufficient pressure on me.

Remarks
Selection:Equalizer, Keep Your Distance and Global Warming. Global warming is something new and acts similarly like noxious fumes so speed to clear house is important and low health cards generally are not welcomed though it is good this time round due to equalizer. For me, I used Moxian Rebel to give Krash Wanferford weapons training and allow it to strike and benefit from killing and using blood lust to gain more stats. The remaining cards are just being added sufficiently for more cards so that we got a little more chance.
Outcome:Win! With equalizer, using more cards is a correct move and I ended up throwing more attacks towards my opponent than him throwing back at me. A nice win secured!

Guild Final Tally

I was assigned 5 matches for this brawl and won all 5 of the matches which included 2 fleeing opponent. There were additional 4 wins that came from unfilled frays from other guilds in this brawl bringing the win count to 9 which is amazing and in this brawl, I have once again achieved a clean sweep which I am really glad to be able to get such a result.

From down in the deeps at 7th, we successfully climbed back up to 5th which I am glad we bounced back. Something to note is that the amount of losses we have as a guild is just a mere 3 counts as compared to even other guilds that are above us. Many of us have improved our game but the lack of players really make it hard for us to climb the rankings for a higher position. Nevertheless, fantastic work by everyone in the guild. You guys are awesome, go PIZZA 2!

Closing
