PIZZA 2 Brawl Report - 13 Sep 2025
Greetings everyone, how are you doing as we draw a close to the week and get ready for a beautiful Sunday. First and foremost, I would like to apologize to my guild members for missing out on the previous brawl. The latest brawl which my guild PIZZA 2 participated in had ended a couple of hours ago and it is time again to look at how our guild did for this brawl on all aspects such as a guild, individually how each of the brawl matches went for me and the thoughts and decisions made behind how I setup each lineup against all the opponents that I am facing in the brawl and how I adjusted each lineup to we get the most out of each ruleset.
Right now my focus and fray to be competing in will be the ones with Conclave Arcana and Rebellion which is either fray 3 or 4. I started gathering more Conclave Arcana and Rebellion cards so as to strengthen my modern ranked battle games and at the same time, will allow me more versatility to handle each ruleset and hopefully these cards can help me a little in the brawls. To also remind myself, I will also need to continue building up my collection and levelling them up. So let's get right on with the brawl report.

| Selection: | What Doesn't Kill You, Maneuvers and Ferocity. For me, when I see high mana and earth is available, it was a simple decision no matter how, put up Quora. To fill I still had to use Silverleaf Mage but I know she will be subjected to 2x damage. The remaining cards comprise of a couple of elves to capitalize on the execute ability from the Archon. |
| Outcome: | Win! When I saw my opponent's lineup, I know this should be a good match for me as I will be able to chew down quite a number of cards from my opponent using Quora and when she grows, it will be so hard to take her down and indeed she did what she do best and won me the match. |

| Selection: | Back to Basics, Reverse Speed and Fire & Regret. While I understand that range attackers will be at disadvantaged for this ruleset, I still had to put in because I should be able to do more damage with execute and allow me to take out opponent. Back to basics means Quora cannot grow with kills but her big stats and double attack is still instrumental in this. |
| Outcome: | Win!. A very close match where opponent had many high stats cards which soak up so much damage. But thankfully with execute from the Archon, I am able to land multiple big attacks to wear down opponent health and secure the win. |

| Selection: | Earthquake, Born Again and Healed Out. Somehow this brawl has so many ruleset that makes Quora a little harder to unleash fully but her own stats and attack is what makes her the brawl must have card. And with the earthquake I tried to put in card with higher health and hope that I can outlast the damage from earthquake. Again, mainy elves because of the bonus attacks they will get on execute since cards health will be heavily reduced. |
| Outcome: | Win! Soaking up other card damage through Silverleaf Mage and the rest of the elves striking hard, we did get some headwinds and bulldoze through opponent lineup with Quora leading as we took home a sweet victory. |

| Selection: | Four's a crowd, Tis but scratches and Fog of War. With this, Quora will do great with an army of hard hitting cards supporting her as she will be able to heal and grow with ever card she took out. |
| Outcome: | Win! Having Quora to lead the match is the key to this victory as other small damages that come from the front will be diverted to Silverleaf Mage to allow her breathing space to survive and to clear cards from the front. The other hard hitters also did their part to wear down opponent card health. |

| Selection: | What Doesn't Kill You, Deflection Field and Little League. The defining ruleset will be little league. And from this I added Jini Guise for the protect and the rest of my lineup is there land all the damage they can on my opponent with Halfling Refugee taking the tank to cushion all the frontal damage. |
| Outcome: | Win! With the extra armour protecting the lineup, it is much better and my magic attackers alongside sufficient tanking from Halfling Refugee and just overrun my opponent. |
Guild Final Tally
I was assigned 5 matches for this brawl and won all 5 of the matches which included 0 fleeing opponent. There were additional 4 wins that came from unfilled frays from other guilds in this brawl bringing the win count to 9 which is amazing and in this brawl, I have once again achieved a clean sweep!
Unfortunately, from the previous 5th position, we further slipped to 7th position. While I did hope we can further improve but certainly not everyday we can be winning everything so easily so we need to look at where we did not do well, pick ourselves up and then come back stronger. The issue on unfilled frays also hurt us in terms of wins as well. Let's do better next one! Go PIZZA 2!
