PIZZA 2 Brawl Report - 12 Dec 2025

Greetings everyone, we have just stepped into weekend and the latest brawl which my guild PIZZA 2 participated in had ended just about a couple of hours ago and it is time again to look at how our guild did for this brawl on all aspects such as a guild, individually how each of the brawl matches went for me and the thoughts and decisions made behind how I setup each lineup against all the opponents that I am facing in the brawl and how I adjusted each lineup to we get the most out of each ruleset. So glad that the holiday seasons are here and I do have alot more breathing space and catching up alot on rest which is really good for me. I am no longer dozing off on sofas like I used to and missing out on positing.

Right now my focus and fray to be competing in will be the ones with Conclave Arcana and Rebellion which is either fray 4 or 5. I started gathering more Conclave Arcana and Rebellion cards so as to strengthen my modern ranked battle games and at the same time, will allow me more versatility to handle each ruleset and hopefully these cards can help me a little in the brawls. To consistently remind myself, I cannot be just using the same old cards at the same level without growth as other players will grow and become stronger. So let's get right on with the brawl report.

	Remarks
Selection:	Close Range, Born Again and Deflection Field. With every that is there, it is calling for me to use my range attackers and I had both my Decrepit Windseer as bloodline tribute and some elves to receive those stat boost. Quora is definitely in the front to bulldoze through whatever that stands in her way.
Outcome:	Win! Opponent's Quora was cleared off early by my Thanalorian Blade after having my lineup barrage onto it to low health. Once opponent Quora down, the rest of the show is on my side to slowly take cards out one by one. Another key was that opponent's Quora is only at 1 magic attack due to my archon ability which gave me a real advantage.

	Remarks
Selection:	Born again, need for speed and collateral damage. I always scratch my head when it comes to collateral damage because it is a little difficult to field that will be suitable for this ruleset. And for this time, I used high health based cards to sustain the fights long enough while doing big damage on their end too. And I also want to reduce attack so I used 3 cards with fatigue hoping that they remain dormant while Marisol do the work.
Outcome:	Win! My strategy worked and it allowed me to use Marisol to create pressure while using Meriput to heal the tank up while opponent only had 2 cards fielded and easily overcome by my lineup.

	Remarks
Selection:	Going the distance, healed out and holy protection. When I saw this, first reaction is to use range attack reduction archon and then pick the best range attackers I have in my arsenal. And it is non other than Tatiana Blayde which has double attack and then followed by Thraghun whom also have double attack which will be very helpful in holy protection match to first erode the divine shield then start smashing.
Outcome:	Win! A nice combination formed from what I mentioned above saw a strong fight put up by my lineup. Double attacks were essential to just land a attack to open that armour. Not forgetting the reduce range attack also did help alot.

Guild Final Tally

This brawl I am assigned 3 matches and I managed to win all 3 of them and from unfilled frays, I am given 5 free wins to bring the tally to 8 wins in total with no losses. After a few weeks of no clean sweep, once gain I manage to get it.

Deja vu, we once again came in at rank 4. Not too abad and we are just 4 wins away from rank 3 guild. Unfortunately, the number of people participating in brawl is low in our guild else we would have gotten more wins for sure. Let's keep the pace and continue doing well. Go PIZZA 2!

Closing
Fewer people participate within the guild for a 2 brawls which is a worrying sign. Hopefully regulars can come back to brawling and bring us back to the top.
