Hive Power Up Day - August 1st 2025: Powering Through The Late Summer

Hi all, it is the 1st of August 2025. A blink of an eye and 7 months of 2025 have just zoomed past us in a fast and furious manner. 2025 had been a crazy year for me thus far with loads of work piling up and a number of business trips happening already which time to time disrupts my time spent on Hive. But no matter how, busy or not, let's also continue to show our support for the blockchain we all love and a fair bit of time on and take part in Hive Power Up Day!

I have participated in Hive Power Up Day since October 2022, the journey since then had been nothing less than awesome. I still remembered how I started with 315HP back then when I first participated in this Power Up initiative. From that month on, on every month running, I would try my best to take part and show my support to the blockchain. Hive is a very unique block chain made up of various communities and interest groups. This platform brought above massive a knowledge bank made available to the community and also for users to learn more about each others hobbies, expertise and also celebrate togetherness in sharing music, games and all things in life. With so much amazing content available for self enriching, personal growth and all, it has also developed into a lifestyle for many.

Hive Power Up Day, What is it?
Hive Power Up Day occurs on the first day of each month where the community come together to stake their Hive to become Hive Power. Through this, our account gets powered up!

By powering up our account, what does it bring?

• Increase our influence in the block chain, in terms of voting power on content, witnesses and proposals
• With a much higher Hive Power, we get more curation rewards and improve our earnings.
• Passive earning of 3% per annum

Hive Power Up July Month 2025

My growth in HP in the the month of July for 2025 manage to gathered me 685 HP which is about 100 more HP than what I have gained in June. Thankful for everyone whom have given me your support for a good growth in the month of July

Every growth that I've managed improves my influence in the blockchain and I will be able to push for higher growth with each month.

So let's see the status of the Hive Power Up Month:

After months of missing out on the Hive Power Up Month, finally I have returned to secure a Hive Power Up Month for July. I recall the previous months that I didn't manage to get Hive Power Up month due to being unwell or too tired to write a post. But I forget that there is another way to ensure I will not miss the Hive Power Up Month, which is to prepare myself sufficient liquid hive to power up on days where I have difficulty writing a post. So in this month, there was a day which I did not manage to do so and I powered up during that day to ensure that day is counted. And with this, I hope to achieve more consistency on Hive Power Up Month!

Concluding
It is always a pleasure to be able to participate in Hive Power Up Day and show my support. Consistency is the key in growth but I also recognize the need for timeouts and recharge so that I can run the long race. I enjoy being on Hive and reading all the amazing sharing by everyone.

I am still working in the background to enable some form of passive earning to fund the next Hive Power Day, it might not be able to fund sufficiently right now for even 1 Hive per month, but with consistency I am putting in to build up of what I am doing, I am certain one day it will be able to fund the base requirement for the power up day! Right now while everything is still rather low in terms of passive hive gains, some parts of the power up is from the passive while the bulk still came from sources such as comment rewarder, liquid hive selling layer 2 token etc. No matter how, I will continue to improve my passive liquid hive generation so that I can have enough to power up every month. The delta to achieving this is still quite a distance away, but with determination, I will make sure this happens.
