Exploring Amazing Taiwan Part 8 - Wrapping Up The Trip with Railway Garden, Hot Spring and Cat Cafe

Good day to all from World Map Pin community, hope all of you are doing fine this lovely weekend. I am thankful to be back to share on this amazing Taiwan trip that I had with my wife because this is such a great trip. In today's post, I will be wrapping up my Taiwan trip with the remaining sights that we went through before we headed back to Singapore. The cover picture is taken at the railway garden converted by the old Taichung railway track.
Background
This Taiwan trip is a week long trip that I planned with my wife and we went to quite a number of less travelled locations. The trip include many places that most people going to Taiwan will not include in their itinerary and that is why I would want to share it with the community on these amazing places that my wife and I explored.
Join us as we explore the various less mainstream locations in Taiwan.

Railway Garden - Taiwan Connection 1908
Here we are at the old Taichung railway track which is right beside the current Taichung Railway station. I love how peaceful it is and how much effort is done to give life to this old railway and integrating it to the city scape, giving citizens a nice place to hang out during their free time.

And as we walk and explore the new garden form with the rail track, we are led towards the old Taichung Railway Station where we do see a retro looking train which is now converted into a restaurant.

And with this place, this will be our final attraction explored in Taichung as we took the high speed rail and head northwards back to Taipei.
Taipei Stopover
Because Taipei is a place that most people visit and are really familiar and I have had a couple of trips to Taipei due to work and previously my wedding photoshoot, my wife and I decided to just chill and enjoy one night in Taipei before heading back home to sunny Singapore.
And the first stop after so much walking and exploring is to head to Beitou for Hot Springs. One special note, in the Taipei Metro red line, there is a Beitou Station but that is not where the hots springs are, you need to take a connecting line from Beitou Station to Xinbeitou Station to where all the hot springs are located.

There are many places with hot springs. Typically you will pay for a duration where you can enjoy the hot springs in a private room that is well equipped with towels and toiletries and it comes with both hot and cold springs.

It is a real good time to relax and purge off all the fatigue accumulated over the days. Price is very affordable and the whole experience was awesome. If you can, you must come here for a nice soak.
After a nice soak in the hot springs, we headed to another place to chill and relax. My wife loves cats, so we headed to a cat cafe that is nearby.
The cat cafe is Kitten Coffee Garden located at:
No. 129 Fuhua Rd, Shilin District, Taipei
This is not our first time here, back then we also had loads of fun with the cats in the cafe and we thought to visit once again.

And here are the cats that were more accessible to us while the rest snuggle in their own cat houses.

We've had so much fun in Taiwan exploring all the less explored places and now it has come to an end which we wrapped up in a very relaxing manner. While these places are not really mainstream, I really like this particular Taiwan trip because it just gives us a different view of Taiwan. And do check out my previous posts if you missed any episode of this amazing trip.
