Community Engagement Challenge: Pumping It Up For Conclave Arcana

Hi all, good day to all of you. It's time again for Community Engagement Challenge. The pre-sale of Conclave Arcana have already started and there will be another 2 weeks till pre sale ends. And what I am aware is that there is already over 850k packs sold! This is a good sign for the game and I do hope of these 850k packs that are sold, a bulk of them are bought by new players as that will definitely inject more activity to the game.

Have You Taken Part In The Pre-Sale?

At the time of writing, we have approximately 14 days left for the pre sale. I am really looking forward to new players coming in, interacting with existing players and moving to new seasons with us.

One thing to note, only standard and above are available during presale, so remember to clock more DEC and get those packs in, get your promo cards in. Like I mentioned in the last post, if you are a little low on DEC, work on gaining more SPS and then convert them to DEC to make these purchases, otherwise if you have quite a fair bit of layer 2 coins accumulated, might be a good time to convert them to DEC to land your hands on a couple of Conclave Arcana cards. I am really looking forward as many packs are already sold.

New Cards
As the hype goes up, many new cards are being revealed and give us a glimpse of what is to come when the new set is being revealed. So let's rise to the hype and look at the various cards that have been revealed thus far.

Halfshell Seer - Wow, look at that stats and not only about the stats, this is a 4 mana card which qualifies for Little League. Since the release of the Soul Bound reward cards, there have been a number of high risk high reward cards and this Halfshell Seer is another of such because of the Reckless ability. Strategy wise, placing it beside a Shield or Martyr card works well with one cushioning the impact or the other sacrificing to boost this card further.

Caravan Guard - Another card capable of playing little league. This card possess a crazy ability called echo that synergize with repair and heal as it double triggers that ability. With such an ability, it is going to make a team very sustainable and only be able to be killed off by big hits. And the craziest thing is, this is a common card, which means it can be easily obtained. I would certainly want to get this.

Palifala Weslinath - Ok, looking into a revealed legendary card and jammed packed with abilities. Sneak and Close Range will not be unfamiliar to you since it has been there for a very long time. Something that is more recent will be Mimic where after every turn, a new ability from the pool of abilities from the cards fielded will be added to this card which is crazier for each turn this card stays on the field. Next is the new ability Resurgence which will allow cards to self-resurrect once per battle with 100% health and armour. How crazy is this, being able to mimic and one chance to self resurrect is madness and really very strong. Hopefully I might get lucky and get a copy of this card.

By just looking at these 3 cards already got me really excited as I can see how things are going to shake in the battlefield and for sure new meta is going to be formed. I am not sure how I can adapt fast enough when Conclave Arcana cards go live, but I am certain that this will be a new season for Splinterlands. The art so far have been rather good and well designed. Looking forward to more card releases for preview.

Every moment leading up to Conclave Arcana is just so amazing. There is so much to look forward and the mechanics and new stuff that will be introduced when this new set arrives just makes me wanna jump right into it.
