Hi all, good day to all of you. It's time again for Community Engagement Challenge. For today, we are going to ride the wave and live the hype as we draw closer to the release of Conclave Arcana.

Getting Ready
To really get ready, if you have yet to gather sufficient DEC these few days or convert your liquid SPS, it is probably time to do now. Otherwise the alternate path to getting ready enough liquids to make purchase will be through credits.

For people whom are a little short of DEC, my take is to look into your wallet and convert some of the un-used layer 2 coins into DEC in order to join the hype. But if you are a little short of DEC, fret not, continue battling using your rebellion cards to earn SPS and participate in brawls and you will be able to eventually get some Conclave Arcana cards. Otherwise, the rental market is there for you to rent the cards you need to be successful on the battlefield.

Excitement Hits The Roof
It's been a while since we last saw a new set release, with each new set there will be new cards released. And unique to this new set, there is a complete rework of how we named the cards with summoners now being called Archons so as to bring players closer to the world of Splinterlands.

New cards bring about new strategies, new metas and new bloodline mechanism. With Bloodline Domination, traditional colour based pegging to the summoner has been changed, archons will now be able to summon units belonging to other elements as long as they are of the same lineage.

And with this new way of playing, the gameplay is no longer as predictable as it will be. Focusing on a particular splinter might not be just the only way of growing in Splinterlands. Learn about the strength of each lineage and bring an army of them onto the battlefield, surprise your opponents with your understanding of the lineage.

To be strong in modern gameplay, crack open those packs, go into training mode and tinker through your cards to seek what how cards synergize with one another to seek the right strategy. With new game mechanics and interaction, I am sure there I will also need to spend quite some time on training in order to see how my current collection can blend in with the new cards.

Promo Cards

Yes, with the new release, there are also promo cards that are released to commemorate the launch. Interestingly, both of them belong to the fiend race and both are neutral cards which can be used for any coloured splinter.

To get hold of Arcane Skinwalker, one will have to spend 40k DEC which is equivalent to about 40 dollars USD while Gramel The Hunger will require one to spend 10x more which is at 400k DEC. Both of them look really awesome in terms of stats and abilities and definitely worth considering to gather some of them as you spend on getting new packs to fill your Conclave Arcana collection.

Card Design and Lore
I remembered the community challenge for Lore writing and I absolutely love reading them and even expanding the stories. And with a new set, I am expecting new exciting lores for me to read and immerse in the world of Splinterlands.

Card design wise have been really good. Be it the artwork or the animated cards, a really nice breakthrough by the team and I am really impressed with some of the artwork of the cards shared in the community by those folks whom have early access to the cards.

Wrap Up
This is by far the boldest step that the team have taken to expand Splinterlands and kudos to the good work done. I know this step is very much needed so as to get more people onboard into Splinterlands. I am trying to gather sufficient DEC to kickstart my Conclave Arcana journey, are you ready for it?
