Battle Sharing: When You Fight A Match That Goes Against What You Planned

Prelude
Good day to all, how are you doing this lovely weekend and it is time for another battle sharing where I go up against tough cards, tough matches or share how certain abilities give strong advantage to win. Today, I will be showcasing a match where the setup is totally against what you planned.
Battle Intro
Some background for this match, this is where things get a little troublesome. When I see water splinter, natural instinct for me is to use Magic based lineup, since I got the foundation archon that is able to boost my magic attacks. But I was totally wrong when my opponent had battle tactics and used magic reflect against me. This came out to be really tough one.

Selection Analysis
In today's matchup, there were 5 splinter choices available to us for this match, fire, water, death, life and dragon. Water is my choice as I want to use magic lineup.
To lead the lineup it will be Mariel Singariel, Water Foundation archon, giving every single magic attacker in my lineup additional one magic attack. To lead the lineup, it is Halfling Refugee, the cheap 1 mana tank with loads of stats. Next in the lineup is Bloodline tribute Wailsworn Spectre that gives Undead additional magic attack upon falling. Next in the lineup is Rune Arcanist which gives opponent -1 health with weaken. Captain Fellblade is next in the lineup with a dual attack to goes from the rear with sneak. Next up is high risk high reward Shock Trooper than strike for 5 with the boost from the archon. Last one in the lineup is Mindless Thrall which also will benefit from the bloodline tribute. A simple magic beatdown lineup put up by me to face my opponent.
Opponent apparently on the other hand came with Loving The Moo archon which boost elemental and canisan bloodline. And bloodline ability is poison for elemental and canisan. This adds so much more problem as poison on top of the penalty that Shock Trooper give my lineup will be a big problem. The tank my opponent used is Coralforged which flanks for the position 2 card to strike directl from that position. And in that position, it is Endless Gibbon that actually will not need the flanking. The next card that follow is Molten Elemental which is a double attack type card with flying and void. Following which is Torrent Sniper with snipe. Next in the lineup is Steppe Stalker which is a range card that hits for 2 with close range. Last but not least is Halfling Refugee for the rear.
Opponent had cards with void and the Loving the Moo being able to grant magic reflect is this supposedly a goner?
Let's see how things go about in the match.
Round by Round Synopsis
Round 1 - While I thought it is going to be a goner, somehow things didn't look so bad afterall. Mindless Thrall got reflected but Shock Trooper took out Coralforged. And subseqently, the other cards in my lineup cleared Endless Gibbon and Molten Elemental. What seemed so bad ended with me having the advantage.

Round 2 - The zap from my Shock Trooper cleared my own cards Hafling Refugee and Wailsworn Spectre. And due to reflect and all, even Shock Trooper died after landing a kill, leaving opponent with a 1 health range attacker on the board.

Round 3 - It was just a breeze as we easily overpowered and took out this final card on my opponent lineup to secure the win. Love the outcome and nice win!
Battle Summary
I was really worried when I saw Loving The Moo alongside the elemental cards. With void and also magic reflect staring hard at me, before clicking battle, I thought it will definitely be a goner. But surprisingly, as long as I had sufficient magic to overpower the cards selected for magic reflect, it ended with me claiming the victory and totally overpowering my opponent instead.
