First Time On The Web

First time going online was like magic to me, not everyone have a phone back then and the few that did had to hide it really well to prevent people from either stealing it or tampering with their stuff and not spoilt it because we only have few phone repairer back then. Dad had his phone but I really don't know what to use it for than to send message or make a call, I never new about the internet then and anything I manage to get his phone whenever he is asleep, I just use it to play games or watch movies until I saw my neighbour surfing the blue app (facebook) back then, it wasn't well developed like it is now, he was scrolling through feed and I was peeping trying to see what he was doing.

I started asking questions, what are you doing, he did little explanation and ask if I'm interested so he can register me, I said yes immediately and he register me the next day after telling me I will need data to run stuff online and also told me how to get one. I was kinda on a mission then, doing what the big boys were doing, I sneak my dad phone as usual, he had lot of airtime so I convert it with the hope that he won't figure out, I had to use the browser mode to first download opera mini which make surfing really easier, I was able to login to facebook and start doing the do until my dad caught me one night, I had to make some silent prayers to escape beating that day and eventually he got me a phone.

Sony Ericsson was like an iphone back then, I learnt a lot of stuff using that phone and I get to know about platforms where you can easily download stuff like sefan ru, waptrick and all, then social platform like eskimi, badoo was reigning then as a dating site. Things really change back then, and truly having the internet around change the whole world and also make things way easier till date.
