Por fin probé ese truco para limpiar con Coca-Cola. I finally Tried That Coke Cleaning Hack. [ESP-ENG]

Hola, grandes amigos, mis mejores deseos para todos vosotros en estas fiestas.

Hoy he probado un truco de limpieza que me ha dejado perpleja todo el día. La mayoría de las veces es bueno dar un paso adelante, arriesgarse y probar algo diferente. Si no funciona, al menos sabes que no ha funcionado, y si funciona, te alegrarás de que tu esfuerzo no haya sido en vano, pero no dejes de probar cosas nuevas.

Acabo de descubrirlo por primera vez y no sé si alguien más lo había hecho antes, pero hoy fue mi primera prueba y salió muy bien. Bueno, el mes pasado vi un vídeo en Facebook en el que alguien usaba COCA COLA (cola) para quitar el óxido de algunos utensilios de cocina.

También vi otro en YouTube en el que alguien usaba la misma cola para quitar el óxido de una olla.
A mí me pareció tan irreal que pensé para mis adentros que, al fin y al cabo, solo se trataba de contenido de las redes sociales y que quizá no fuera real. Todo me parecía tan descabellado... ¿Cómo iba alguien a usar Coca-Cola para limpiar una olla oxidada y dejarla como nueva? Así que nunca lo creí ni le di más vueltas.

A principios de este mes, antes de irnos de vacaciones, una de mis profesoras mencionó durante una clase que las bebidas carbonatadas no son muy saludables y que, además, la Coca-Cola es un quitamanchas de óxido y se preguntaba qué efectos podría tener en el organismo.
Así que, después de clase ese día, lo comentamos con mis amigos y ella me dijo que era muy cierto y que, además, lo había probado antes, incluso había utilizado la bebida de manzana Lacasera para limpiar el inodoro y había quedado reluciente. Como ella me lo aseguró, sentí la necesidad de probarlo también.

Así que ayer por la mañana compré una Coca-Cola en botella de plástico. La verdad es que tenía muchas ganas de bebérmela de un trago, pero me resistí y solo bebí un poco.

Guardé el resto para continuar con mi nueva aventura de limpieza. Nuestra cocina había empezado a oxidarse y no quedaba nada bien, llevaba tiempo buscando cómo limpiar el óxido, así que era un buen momento para probarlo.

Probé a usar solo Coca-Cola para quitar el óxido, y funcionó, pero no lo limpió muy bien. Entonces recordé los vídeos que había visto, en los que usaban bicarbonato sódico junto con la Coca-Cola y quedaba muy limpio. No tenía bicarbonato sódico, así que decidí usar pasta de dientes junto con la Coca-Cola y funcionó.

Así es como estaba mi cocina antes: tanto los bordes como el quemador estaban oxidados, pero tuve que usar con cuidado la Coca-Cola y la pasta de dientes con un cepillo para frotarla con cuidado y limpiarla con una toalla, y quedó como nueva. No utilicé agua en absoluto.

No me arrepiento de haber tomado esa decisión audaz de hacer algo diferente y me alegro de que haya salido tan bien.

Earlier today I tried out a cleaning hack that left be baffled the whole day. Most times it is always good to step out, take that risk and try out something different, if it does not work at least you got to know it didn’t work and if it works you will be happy that your effort did not go to waste but don’t stop trying out something new.

I just figured dis out for the first time and I don’t know if anyone else had done it before but today was my first trial and it turned out so well. Okay last month I came across a reel on Facebook where someone used COCA COLA (coke) to wash off rust from some cooking utensils.

I also watched another one on YouTube where someone used the same coke to wash off rust from pot.

To me it appeared so unreal and I thought to myself after all it is just social media content and it may not be real, the whole thing fell so off because how would someone use coke to was a rusted pot and it came up new again and so I never believed it or gave it a thought.

So earlier this month before we vacated, one of my lecturers as she was lecturing made mention that carbonated are not so healthy for consumption and besides coke is a rust remover and she wonders what it could result inside the body.

So after class that day, we discussed with my friends about it and she told me that it was very true and besides she has tried it before, she even used Lacasera apple drink to wash the toilet and it came up sparking clean. Because she assured me I felt the urge to give it a try too.

So yesterday morning, I bought a plastic coke, I was actually very tempted to gulp it in but I resisted and drank it just small.

I reserved the rest to proceed with my new cleaning adventure, our cooker had started getting rusty and it was not nice at all, all this while I have been looking for how to clean off the rust so this was a very good moments to try this.

I tried using just the coke to wash off the rust, it worked but it didn’t clean it so well, I remembered the reels I had watched, they used baking soda together with the coke and it wash off so well. I didn’t have any baking soda to use so I decided to use tooth paste together with the coke and it worked.

So here is how my cooker was before both the edges and the burner were all rusted but I had to carefully use the coke and toothpaste on a brush to carefully scrub it and clean it off with a towel and it turned new again, I never used water at all.

I don’t regret taking that bold move to do something different and I am glad it turned out so well.
