Indeed, though unless some significant changes are made, it will likely go very close.

Investing in HP was actually one of my better choices, even with the price continuing to spiral down, because I can delegate it. πŸ˜πŸ™πŸ’šβœ¨πŸ€™

Saying "under the ground" !INSTEAD of simply "on the ground" implies some sort of "debt". πŸ’ΈπŸ€―

I see many people on Hive, when the topic is about getting regular returns, indeed say that getting liquid HIVE tokens from delegating Hive Power (instead of Powering Down a bit of HP or other methods to gain HIVE) is the better choice. πŸ€“

Well, HIVE's value is directly linked to the US dollar, as is that of HBD, all fiat currencies are based on unpayable debt, and HBD is HIVE debt, so the whole thing in its current state is one big debt black hole. πŸ˜πŸ™πŸ’šβœ¨πŸ€™

Delegating HP has many benefits indeed.

It reminds me of my comment 4 months ago about "triple debt"! πŸ€―πŸ˜†

Indeed. No sustainable system can be built on debt, period. πŸ˜πŸ™πŸ’šβœ¨πŸ€™

Not to mention double debt or even triple debt! πŸ’Έ

I wonder if there can be any algorithmic stablecoin/stabletoken that is not debt like Hive-Backed Dollars (apart from what you say that fiat currencies are debts). πŸ€―πŸ˜…

The US dollar, along with many other worldwide fiat currencies, will very likely going back to being gold backed at some point soon. If and when that happens, it changes the game substantially. πŸ˜πŸ™πŸ’šβœ¨πŸ€™

How about Bitcoin which its supporters say is "digital gold"? πŸ˜…

Well, BTC is actually very much like gold. It is a real currency, just way more easily transferred, so it's the closest to digital gold that we currently have available. By the way, this was the first of apparently many comments that Engage didn't catch, probably due to the RPC-node issues. πŸ˜πŸ™πŸ’šβœ¨πŸ€™

There's only the issue though that in places where Internet connection is unreliable, it's hard to pay with Bitcoin (or any other cryptocurrency). 🀯

That's where mesh networks come very much in handy. πŸ˜πŸ™πŸ’šβœ¨πŸ€™

Mesh networks are useful indeed, though they still seem to be relatively unpopular. 🀯 Mesh networks supporting Bitcoin (and other cryptocurrencies) are interesting! πŸ˜…

That reminds me of @crrdlx's posts and comments about #Reticulum. πŸ€“

To me, they are just way too technical for nearly everyone. It seems very niche to me...those into it are really into it, like Ham radio. Reticulum requires special hardware (sometimes involving soldering), downloading software, getting it all connected, probably chatting in some places to get support. It seems very cool, but there are steps involved.

I !INDEED saw "ready-to-use kits" powered by #Reticulum on online stores, though they are expensive, not available in many countries, and still requires setup (which seems to defeat the purpose of them being "ready-to-use"). πŸ€―πŸ€“ !LOLZ

Define 'unpopular'. Are you referring to the majority of people who have no clue how technology even works, or why some is better than others? In the circles that I frequent, mesh networks are very popular indeed, and there are some excellent versions of them. Qortal now has some mesh-network technology integrated, with more to come soon. Also, you do realize that many high-end routers have mesh-network capabilities built in, right?

It's good to see that he's been talking about some iterations of them. Reticulum is the implementation that's being incorporated into Qortal. πŸ˜πŸ™πŸ’šβœ¨πŸ€™
