I have no idea why people use frameworks like that. It seems like far more hassle than it's worth to me. I can't wait for the SPK network either, and yes, it's been taking forever indeed. 😁🙏💚✨🤙

The advantage of certain other blockchain platforms (such as #Arweave) is that any type of media (even videos and apps themselves) can be put directly onto the blockchain, though every megabyte costs a certain amount of tokens (depending on network conditions). 💸🤓

How on earth do they store media directly on the blockchain? That seems horribly inefficient. 😁🙏💚✨🤙

I haven't searched about them in detail, but I found out that publishing even a very short comment there may take more than 10 minutes to get added to the blockchain, not to mention the higher fees required when more and/or bigger transactions are pending. 💸🤯🤓

Yikes, so it's inefficient, slow, and expensive...lol! I got to say that this information does not give me motivation to explore it. 😁🙏💚✨🤙

I wonder what would happen if the Hive blockchain gets a fork where anyone can put a huge amount of data per post or comment (let's say up to 20 megabytes per post), provided that the Hive account has enough Resource Credits to support such transaction !INDEED. 💸🤯😅

Storing large amounts of data, especially media files, directly on the blockchain never goes well. A far better solution is to have a decentralized data layer, like Qortal has with QDN (Qortal Data Network). 😁🙏💚✨🤙

While there are !INDEED benefits to putting large amounts of data directly onto a blockchain, it is (very) likely that the drawbacks clearly outweigh the benefits. 🤯🤓

From everything that I've seen on that matter, that is certainly true. Sure, there are always some benefits to doing anything, but yeah, sometimes the drawbacks make it quite untenable in practical terms. 😁🙏💚✨🤙

Not to mention there also is the lack of Resource Credits system (at least on those platforms on what I already found), so there won't be practically free data stored on those blockchains simply by staking tokens there. 💸🤯🤓

Yeah, blockchains or platforms like that just sound really clunky and unwieldy. 😁🙏💚✨🤙

Let's just !HOPE that users of such platforms are !INDEED getting what they pay for. 🤗

savvyplayer, you mined 0.9 🟧 HBIT and the user you replied to (tydynrain) received 0.1 HBIT on your behalf as a tip. When you mine HBIT, you're also playing the Wusang: Isle of Blaq game. 🏴‍☠️

Sorry, but you didn't find a bonus treasure token today. Try again tomorrow...they're out there! Your random number was 0.6401190838208202, also viewable in the Discord server, #hbit-wusang-log channel. | tools | wallet | discord | community | daily <><

Check for bonus treasure tokens by entering your username at a block explorer A, explorer B, or take a look at your wallet.
There is a treasure chest of bitcoin sats hidden in Wusang: Isle of Blaq. Happy treasure hunting! 😃 Read about Hivebits (HBIT) or read the story of Wusang: Isle of Blaq.

Indeed, maybe they love it. How would they know if they were actually getting that for which they paid? 😁🙏💚✨🤙

I don't think that we can be certain that people get what they paid for, but we can still continue to hope though. 🤯😅

Well, we could if we had sufficient data to ascertain, and of course. 😁🙏💚✨🤙

A person determining whether they got what they paid for seems subjective, as they may have a lot of !FUN getting something even if others think that what they got is not (that) useful. 🤯🤓

I tried to search for the official SPK (based on #Honeycomb) website, but found none. 🤯 It was previously hosted on https://spk.dlux.io, where the website of the primary domain https://dlux.io removed (all) references to the Hive blockchain. 🤯

I really think that such Hive Proposals which ask for hundreds of dollars per day should at least have an official website (that is independent of any other project) !INDEED. 🧘‍♂️🤯

That's great, but I would be happy with a team that were very open and communicative about what they're doing, even if they didn't have an official website, especially if they're making good progress to boot. 😁🙏💚✨🤙

An official post here on Hive for a Hive project whose owner (or team members) communicate actively (and kindly) with people on Hive would indeed be at least as good as having an official website. 🧘‍♂️🤓

I'd say that it would be more useful, since many Hivers don't even visit dev sites. 😁🙏💚✨🤙
