My 215th Sunday Weekly Hive Goals and Progress Update: HBD Out of Savings, a Big HPUD Powerup, and Rebuilding the We Are Alive Tribe's Income Streams - GaiaYoga Gardens, Lower Puna, Far East Big Island, Hawai'i - Sunday, July 12, 2026

My last Sunday Weekly Hive Goals and Progress Update can be found here. This goals-and-progress post serves as my weekly participation in the We Are Alive Tribe's Monday 'Share Your Goals and Progress' Challenge, and in the SlothBuzz's Slothly Savers Club.

Welcome to my 215th Sunday Weekly Hive Goals and Progress Update! Quite a lot has happened since last week. On the 'We Are Alive Tribe' front I made the decision to bite the bullet and take the bull by the horns now rather than later by pausing the distribution of HIVE, to both our HP delegators and in the ALIVE dividends, to focus on rebuilding and growing new income streams, in my efforts to bring our community finances and economy back to a sustainable place. To do this I'm focusing primarily on four solid projects that provide the best returns, Bradley's BBH/BBHO project, the DBOND-DAB-RUG project, the HSBIDAO project, and the CENT project.

As a part of that, I've decided to withdraw my HBD from Savings right after claiming my last round of interest, about 655 HBD, to swap it for HIVE, to power it up on my account on the August HPUD, around 13k+ HIVE, to delegate a large portion of it to @dab-vote, and loan DAB to @aliveandthriving as it arrives in my wallet, which will be one way of growing our daily HIVE income. I wish that I could restore our community's HIVE income immediately, but this process will unfortunately take some time, given the resources that we have available.

So in terms of my 2026 year-end goals, reaching 750 HBD in Savings is being taken off the list, since my HBD is necessary to rebuild the We Are Alive Tribe's HIVE income streams, and I'll far exceed 25,000 HP. That's not great, but it's also not horrible either. I'll do what I have to do for our community.

The last big chunk of HIVE that we had on our main community account, @hive-155221, was swapped for HSBIDAO, and 2,000 HP across two community accounts was delegated to @steembasicincome, to begin growing our HSBIDAO holding as quickly as possible. I've also begun to stake the small bit of incoming HIVE that we have on @aliveandthriving, and to delegate it to Bradley's main account, @bradleyarrow, to begin growing another HIVE income stream. We had sufficient staked SPORTS on @aliveandthriving to delegate to @centtoken to begin receiving weekly CENT payouts, and all incoming CENT from the CENT pools, from curation, and from this new SPORTS delegation, will be staked, and once our staked CENT reaches the minimum threshold, it will also be delegated to @centtoken for weekly HBD payouts. As you can see, I'm far more focused on rebuilding the We Are Alive Tribe's economy and financial viability than I am on investing on and growing my own account currently, though things on that front are not doing badly, so I'm not neglecting my account's investments and growth with my refocus on the We Are Alive Tribe's economic sustainability, I'm just putting my attention on what is most important and necessary at this time.

Over the past week I gained +158.184 Hive Power, +0 HBD in Savings, and +0.04 Reputation Points, which means that I still have 4,515.2 HP and 99.268 HBD in Savings to go to achieve my 2026 year-end goals. Even though I'll be withdrawing all of my HBD from Savings in 3 days, just after my last interest claim, I'll keep things as they are here until after it's removed. I really wanted to keep growing my HBD in Savings over time, but given Hive's ongoing abysmal economy, other choices need to be made.

In terms of my HiveBuzz rankings, I hopped up 2 places for HP, I inched up +2 place for HBD in Savings, and I leaped up +11 places for Reputation, so a good week overall, with all positive numbers. I'll stop tracking my ranking for HBD in Savings by next week, and my ranking for HP will definitely get a very strong boost at the beginning of August.
