Welcome to my 188th Sunday Weekly Hive Goals and Progress Update! Well, the fiat-dollar price of HIVE did not dip into the $0.08 range for the entire 13 days that I had my HBD out of Savings, so to not lose any more interest, I retaked my HBD back into Savings on December 31st. Given that my HBD went back into Savings, my HIVE powerup on the January HPUD was a bit more modest than I'd hoped, but it was still a very good boost nonetheless, January HPUD - Hive Power Up Day - 746.363 HIVE Powered Up!, and one that took me past 16,000 Hive Power. That was a pretty nice way to start 2026 indeed.

Usually by this time I would have already chosen new Hive Goals for the new year, but curiously I haven't yet done so. Partly it's because I've been rather busy, though there is also the fact that I don't really know what I want to choose for my goals yet. The end of the Saturday Savers Club, in which I participated for 3.5 of its 5 years of running, definitely plays a part in this too. So when will I choose a new set of Hive Goals for 2026? Good question, and I don't know. I'll see if something bubbles up this week.

Honestly, the most inspiration and motivation that I have around Hive goals is in the building and growing of the 'We Are Alive Tribe' decentralized community economy and financial system, as Ben (@benthomaswwd / @benthomasuk) and I work to turn the We Are Alive Tribe into an economic and financial powerhouse, though I haven't even thought yet about which goals for this endeavor would be useful. This year I seem more focused on just doing, rather than setting goals about doing, both for myself, and for the We Are Alive Tribe, so we'll see which if any goals I'll choose (or not) for this year.

Over the past week I gained +841.278 Hive Power and +0.04 Reputation Points, with no new 2026 goals set for them yet. Since I restaked my HBD to Savings, tracking for it will begin again today, though I also haven't set a 2026 goal for it yet. My solid HIVE powerup on the January HPUD comprises most of the Hive Power that I gained last week.

In terms of my HiveBuzz rankings, I leaped +49 places for Hive Power, and I jumped +19 places for Reputation. With HBD back in Savings, I'll begin tracking it again this week. My HPUD powerup was responsible for most of my HP large leap.
