I live naked and barefooted, very close to Earth and Nature, in an 18-acre, off-grid, clothing-optional, food-forest intentional community (GaiaYoga Gardens), way out in the jungles of Lower Puna, far East Big Island, Hawai'i, and I have for more than 7 years now. Although there are many challenges, I love my life, and I'm immensely grateful to live where and how I do, on my own terms! I would not want to live any other way! 😁🙏💚⚡💥🔥✴️✳️❇️👣🌱✨🤙

In all the juggling that I do, and have done, for the We Are Alive Tribe, there is one important focus that has in large part fallen through the cracks: governance; our witness and proposal votes. Thanks to a comment from @stresskiller on @borniet's latest post on recent updates to our MMB Project, and a very helpful suggestion on how to handle governance across several accounts, this morning I dove into proxying all relevant 'We Are Alive Tribe' account votes through just one account.

Logically I chose my own account as the proxy, since this is the account where I'm logged in and active the most, so currently all 'We Are Alive Tribe' accounts that have at least some HP (a little over 12k HP across all accounts) proxy their witness and proposal votes through this account, @tydynrain. This is the most convenient setup for me, though I'm also considering one other possible way to organize it, as it might be more useful overall.

The other way that I'm considering setting it up is to use our witness, @aliveandmmb, as the proxy, since it is one of our most front-facing accounts in terms of the rest of the Hive community, so witness and proposals for which it votes should be easily visible to the greater Hire community, which would not be the case with the current setup using my own account as the proxy. If I did it this way then I'd just manage witness and proposal votes on my own account separately, so there would be a little more maintenance and upkeep, since I would have to periodically log into @aliveandmmb to update the votes.

Given how quickly the landscape for witnesses and proposals changes and shifts, keeping track of it all, and keeping everything up to date, is really quite important, and also somewhat daunting, especially when managing multiple accounts. That's exactly where proxy voting comes very much in handy, and it's precisely why I'm making use of it now for the We Are Alive Tribe.

On a different note, I blew past 20,700 HP yesterday afternoon, which means that I'll easily exceed 20,800 HP before the end of the coming week. Then comes HPUD. If I were to power up my 13,784.441 HIVE right now, added to the 20,720.946 HP that I presently have, I would have 34,505.387 Hive Power. We still have about a week to go, so all of those numbers will be a fair bit higher at powerup time than they are now.

Yesterday, Thursday, I left the Flow House, after finishing up my Hive-Blurt-'We Are Alive Tribe' tasks, by just after 2PM, giving my attention first to some photography for my posts. With that completed, I went to sunbathe on the trampoline in the Peanut Lawn for a while. My friend Riana was coming over to hang out, and to assist me in some of my land-work tasks, so I figured that sunning until she arrived was a good choice. She popped up a short time later and joined me on the trampoline, to soak up the glorious rays. We ended up staying on the trampoline for quite a bit longer than expected, because the sun just felt so good. The main task that I wanted to try to tackle with Riana was to get into my nursery behind the Landing to do some weeding, cleaning, and organizing. Unfortunately, wild pigs had gotten in again, and they made quite a mess of things, so my original plans for derailed. We spent about an hour putting things back in some kind of order, until Riana had to leave a little before sunset. After Riana left, I chopped and dumped bad/used coconuts at the upper coco bar, then I headed to Wabisabi to make myself some food, and to collect my leftover superfood fire coffee from the fridge, before returning to the Flow House to begin my evening Hive tasks. I got through all of my notifications by a bit before 10:30PM, and after scanning my X feed for a short while, I went to bed by a little after 11PM. I woke up quite late, a bit after 8AM, still feeling that I needed more sleep, going to prepare my superfood fire coffee in Wabisabi, then making my way back to the Flow House to write this post. It's now just before 1PM, so it's a very good time to wrap this up, so that I may attend to my few other important Hive-Blurt-'We Are Alive Tribe' tasks, before leaving the Flow House a little later in the afternoon, to focus first on some photography for my posts, and then on some jungle-community/land work and tasks. 2026 Life Goals

1.) Do regular integral practices again, alone or with others.

2.) Prepare regular batches of my medicinal teas collected from the land again.

3.) Make my plant nursery, and the gardens, beautiful again.

4.) Begin learning relevant coding/programming languages to more fully contribute to the sovereignty-driven technologies where I am active, like Arch Linux, Hive, Qortal, DeSo, and Bastyon.
