I live naked and barefooted, very close to Earth and Nature, in an 18-acre, off-grid, clothing-optional, food-forest intentional community (GaiaYoga Gardens), way out in the jungles of Lower Puna, far East Big Island, Hawai'i, and I have for more than 7 years now. Although there are many challenges, I love my life, and I'm immensely grateful to live where and how I do, on my own terms! I would not want to live any other way! 😁🙏💚⚡💥🔥✴️✳️❇️👣🌱✨🤙

I sure wish that I had a more positive focus for my post today, but there are some extremely concerning, and very rapidly progressing worldwide coordinated developments in the digital and online domains that will directly affect everyone who uses and interacts with devices like phones and computers, and who uses online frameworks. This coordinated worldwide push for age verification to be able to access and use devices and online resources is the initial stage and preamble to the construction of a completely controlled digital prison.

I knew that this was coming to conventional mainstream technology, but most concerning of all is how quickly it's also appearing across various FOSS (Free and Open-Source Software) projects, including many Linux distributions as well. As a quick example of what's happening with mainstream technology, any iPhone users in the UK who have updated software on their phones are now required to verify their age before they can even use their own devices again. Ditch conventional technology quickly, or your ignorance will be your undoing.

This will come to all conventional mainstream technology and operating systems in short order, and it's already in the works, so there is little time remaining to get ahead of it I'd say. Get off of Windows, MacOS, iOS, Google-controlled Android, and the Linux distributions that are complying with these unjust and unlawful 'laws' being put into place, as quickly as you're able.

In terms of operating systems and FOSS and Linux projects that I could recommend, sadly the number is dwindling down quite quickly, though there are still very thankfully some solid options left, which I'll mention soon. Any users of Linux distributions with systemd (since it's already compromised, at least the mainline unforked iteration), or who utilize the two most-popular desktop environments, Gnome and KDE Plasma (which are making systemd a requirement), should rapidly consider new options, as I myself am having to do at this time as well, much to my intense chagrin, since I use KDE Plasma on Arch Linux, and I have an Android phone with a locked bootloader (which means that I can't root it, or install my own OS).

We must control our own technological infrastructure, not allow ourselves to be controlled by it. Trading freedom for convenience is a very slippery slope that invariably leads to enslavement. One of my top priorities right now is to decide on what I'm going to do with my 3 Arch Linux installations, as this beloved Linux disto seems to be compromised at this point, and what I'm going to do about my phone. At the moment, converting my Arch Linux installations into Artix Linux, which is based on Arch, and locating and buying a new Android phone with an unlocked bootloader, so that I can root it and install my own de-Googled operating system, seems to be the way forward. I'll share more in these posts as I come to a clearer perspective on what the best options and choices might be.

Yesterday, Wednesday, I left the Kasbah, after finshing up my Hive-Blurt-'We Are Alive Tribe' tasks, by around 12:30PM, giving my attention first to some photography for my posts, and then to a little sunbathing on the trampoline in the Peanut Lawn. Once I was well sunned, I got to a few small jungle-community tasks, including putting gutters on the edge of the roof of Braja's composting toilet, and helping Avi set up a new router in the Beduoin. With those completed, I took a quick asset-management break at the Kasbah, before doing a food-supply run to Tutu's to restock Wabisabi, making myself some food (a grilled cheese, on olive-oil-toasted sourdough, with pepperjack cheese, and Dijon mustard), and then heading back to the Kasbah to begin my evening Hive tasks. I got everything done by around 10PM, and after some asset management, I went to bed by just after 11:15PM. I woke up quite late, just after 8AM, having slept reasonably well, doing more asset management, going to make my superfood fire coffee in Wabisabi, then returning to the Kasbah to write this post. I had to temporarily relocate myself and my laptop to Wabisabi, since a heartshare meeting was being held in the Kasbah, which is from where I'm writing this now. It's now just before 1:15PM, so it's quite a good time to wrap this up, so that I may attend to my few other important Hive-Blurt-'We Are Alive Tribe' tasks, before moving my laptop back to the Kasbah, focusing on some more photography for my posts, and then on some jungle-community/land work and tasks. 2026 Life Goals

1.) Do regular integral practices again, alone or with others.

2.) Prepare regular batches of my medicinal teas collected from the land again.

3.) Make my plant nursery, and the gardens, beautiful again.

4.) Begin learning relevant coding/programming languages to more fully contribute to the sovereignty-driven technologies where I am active, like Arch Linux, Hive, Qortal, DeSo, and Bastyon.
