I live naked and barefooted, very close to Earth and Nature, in an 18-acre, off-grid, clothing-optional, food-forest intentional community (GaiaYoga Gardens), way out in the jungles of Lower Puna, far East Big Island, Hawai'i, and I have for more than 7 years now. Although there are many challenges, I love my life, and I'm immensely grateful to live where and how I do, on my own terms! I would not want to live any other way! 😁🙏💚⚡💥🔥✴️✳️❇️👣🌱✨🤙

Polish_20220714_121754649.jpg

Warm greetings all! 😁🙏💚✨🤙

The We Are Alive Tribe is developing and growing quite well right now, and our beloved ALIVE token is continuing to rise notably in market price, as I knew that it would. We're also having quite a few outside investors into our community token, because they're starting to see ALIVE as a good investment. Since ALIVE is an investment, and because the We Are Alive Tribe is here entirely to support and help our community to grow and thrive, this morning I had the idea to create an exit plan for our project and our investors, in case our project ever fails. I'll do everything in my power for that not to happen, but if it ever does, I want all of you who have been supporting, trusting, and believing in us, to know that we have your back if things do go South.

ALIVE is becoming more scarce, and is increasing in value, while the Hive Power and HBD in Savings, and the layer-2 assets in community wallets and diesel/liquidity pools, are constantly growing (with very focused effort on my part), so if our project and community ever does go down for the count, all the layer-1 and Layer-2 assets that I've been growing would be liquidated, and then distributed to ALIVE holders and stakers, based on the quantity of tokens that they have. This gives me even greater motivation to grow our assets as quickly as I'm able, especially since the market value of ALIVE keeps rising, so we're going to need ever more to back it.

When I say that I'm leveraging and growing our assets for the community, I mean to it. It's yours, whether it it is in the form of ALIVE, or the other assets that we hold, if we fail, you, our community, get it all. So, how does that work as an exit plan and security for your investment?

I'm happy to report that not only do we now have the ALIVE:SWAP.HIVE pool up and running, but it also now has daily liquidity rewards for liquidity providers, which I activated yesterday afternoon. I added ALIVE, BBH, BEER, HOP, IDD, and WRD for the moment, but other assets, and quantities of them, will be added over time. The pool has a 5% daily bonus, which will start 10 days after liquidity is added, and continue for the next year. One very important thing for everyone to know is that anyone, at any time within the contract distribution period, can deposit assets into the pool's liquidity rewards via Tribaldex, just look for our contract batch ID #275, at no cost, so if you'd like to contrbute layer-2 tokens to our liquidity pool rewards, you can do so easily. New ALIVE pools will be created as we progress, and as resources allow.

Much to my intense chagrin, our solar electrical system crashed last night just a little after 7:30PM, and since it was a densely cloudy and rainy morning, we didn't get the power back on until closer to 10AM. Monday morning is the worst possible time for this to happen, since I have two posts to write, my Weekly Hive Goals and Progress Update, and this one. Given the time, I wasn't able to write and publish my goals-and-progress report this morning, so I collected all the asset metrics, to get it ready to write later this evening. Unforseen events like that, which are not uncommon living off grid in the jungle, can really put a damper on getting things done on time, but even with all the assorted and numerous challenges that arise, I always find a way to do what I have to do here on Hive. Period.

Yesterday, Sunday, I left the Flow House, after finishing up my Hive-Blurt-We Are Alive Tribe tasks, quite late, a little after 2:30PM, and since last week was so busy and full, I chose to take the Sunday to myself, doing my own thing. I gave time to some photography for my posts, to making some of my special spiced-and-seasoned popcorn, and to preparing my spiced-and-seasoned meat blend to use during the week. After a quick food-supply run to Tutu's, I made myself some food (spiced-and-seasoned mini beef patties, pepperjack cheese, and horseradish mustard), and with that and my jar of leftover superfood fire coffee in hand(s), I headed back to the Flow House, to begin my evening Hive-Blurt-We Are Alive Tribe tasks, and to catch up on my Hive notifications. This, of course, was abruptly interrupted by the electricity going out. I adapted, finishing the rest up on Hive via my phone. After some asset management, I went bed very early, around 10PM. I woke up about 6 AM, and most of my morning was spent watching the charge controllers on the solar batteries, watching the charge on the batteries inch its way slowly upward. I finally got my superfood fire coffee made, and I returned to the Flow House, by a bit after 10AM, and unable to write my goals-and-progress update, I began writing this post. It's now just after 1PM, so it's quite a lovely time to wrap this up, so that I may get to my other few important Hive-Blurt-We Are Alive Tribe tasks, before leaving the Flow House a little later in the afternoon, to focus first on photography for my posts, and then on community/land work. I deeply appreciate y'all so very much! Until my very-late Sunday Weekly Hive Goals and Progress Update later tonight, and the next incarnation of these posts tomorow! Always forward, onward, upward, and whaleward, ho, together we go! 😁🙏💚✨🤙

That's wonderful, my friend, and I don't hear that often. Certainly. I've been living where and how I do for over 7 years now, and while it has been very challenging in many respects, I would choose it over what most people call 'regular society' any day. It's higher than I've ever seen it as well, my friend, and I think that it will keep rising. I agree, and my hope is that the We Are Alive Tribe endures and thrives as long as Hive exists. Perhaps you would like to run your own SPK node (or a DLUX or DUAT node, but the networks of both nodes aren't working right now) which might help support the #Honeycomb SPK network! 😎😅

I think that you would use VMs if ever you decide to host other nodes (the #Honeycomb SPK node in this case), so that any problem with the node would unlikely affect your laptop itself (as you can simply shut down the VM in case it uses up more CPU and RAM than you expect). 🤓

My system's pretty hefty, 64GB of RAM, and a 13th-generation i9 processor, so I'm sure that the system itself could handle it, but it would also mean that I'd use a whole lot more bandwidth and data, which wouldn't be good, since I already use more than anyone else in the community. 😁🙏💚✨🤙

Running a #Honeycomb node would !INDEED use up significantly more bandwidth, as the last time @savvytester checked about 3 years ago when all of the SPK, DLUX, and DUAT networks were up, it takes roughly 1 GB per day to keep a node up, and that's after the initial sync which is somewhere between 5 to 20 GB. 💸🤯🤯😅

Yep, exactly, that's precisely part of why I don't run more than one node, Qortal, which between it and updating my Arch Linux installations, uses a huge amount of bandwidth each month as it is now. 😁🙏💚✨🤙

There are some blockchain platforms which have social media features (such as Arweave) where people must pay tokens (not just something similar to Resource Credits that regenerate for free over time) to publish posts or comments there, and there is no way to earn directly from content there (while there are workarounds such as putting cryptocurrency wallet addresses there for donations). 🤔 I would like to see Hive provide decentralized image (and other file type) hosting though (which the SPK network is already testing but has been taking quite a long time). 🤓

The advantage of certain other blockchain platforms (such as #Arweave) is that any type of media (even videos and apps themselves) can be put directly onto the blockchain, though every megabyte costs a certain amount of tokens (depending on network conditions). 💸🤓

From everything that I've seen on that matter, that is certainly true. Sure, there are always some benefits to doing anything, but yeah, sometimes the drawbacks make it quite untenable in practical terms. 😁🙏💚✨🤙

Not to mention there also is the lack of Resource Credits system (at least on those platforms on what I already found), so there won't be practically free data stored on those blockchains simply by staking tokens there. 💸🤯🤓

Yeah, blockchains or platforms like that just sound really clunky and unwieldy. 😁🙏💚✨🤙

savvyplayer, you mined 0.9 🟧 HBIT and the user you replied to (tydynrain) received 0.1 HBIT on your behalf as a tip. When you mine HBIT, you're also playing the Wusang: Isle of Blaq game. 🏴‍☠️

Sorry, but you didn't find a bonus treasure token today. Try again tomorrow...they're out there! Your random number was 0.6401190838208202, also viewable in the Discord server, #hbit-wusang-log channel. | tools | wallet | discord | community | daily <><

Check for bonus treasure tokens by entering your username at a block explorer A, explorer B, or take a look at your wallet.
There is a treasure chest of bitcoin sats hidden in Wusang: Isle of Blaq. Happy treasure hunting! 😃 Read about Hivebits (HBIT) or read the story of Wusang: Isle of Blaq.

Indeed, maybe they love it. How would they know if they were actually getting that for which they paid? 😁🙏💚✨🤙

I don't think that we can be certain that people get what they paid for, but we can still continue to hope though. 🤯😅

Well, we could if we had sufficient data to ascertain, and of course. 😁🙏💚✨🤙

A person determining whether they got what they paid for seems subjective, as they may have a lot of !FUN getting something even if others think that what they got is not (that) useful. 🤯🤓

Well, you didn't specify whether you were talking about a subjective or an objective assessment. 😁🙏💚✨🤙
