Something to celebrate!
I posted a few months back about stuff I had been struggling with, and now my wife has finished up her chemo treatments! My Mom is almost all set up to hopefully have her issues start being treated, and I just started seeing a new doctor. He has some ideas that we have not tried yet. Next week I will try a new treatment; fingers crossed it will work out. If it helps, my old job still wants me to come back. So it seems like everything is looking up!
I also have a few other things that I will get to test out thanks to some new space! Only time will tell what the future holds. The best thing about pushing through all the tough times is the good things stand out so much more. Today I went to an estate sale and picked up some more tools for small engine repair, and some PYREX. The all caps stuff is normally made of borosilicate glass. These things are thick and should hold up to just about anything I may pour in them.
I'm so glad to hear your wife is done with chemo. that stuff is rough.
Hope her health continues to improve!
Thank you, only 2 major steps left! Then the wait to find out if it is cured or in remission.
That has got to be a super tense to wait for such important news.
Yes and no, so far she has done better than expected through the whole process. We have faith that things will improve.
Awesome. I'm so glad to hear that!
1st of all. I am soo happy things are looking on the up and up! I recently had a friend lose his job and I know a few guys who are/were going through financial troubles. So this is such good news and congrats!!!
PYREX is no joke, I did learn 1 thing a few years ago that the name "Pyrex" was sold/licensed to other companies so when you see glass containers that say Pyrex NOT in all caps its not the real thing. So I am glad you got the good shit!!!
The job market looks rough for sure. I feel bad for the people trying to find a replacement office job.
I went to the estate sale because they had a couple short Corningware dishes in the photos, but they had pulled them from the sale for sentimental reasons. I told the wife about the score and now I just have a hope she doesn't want to keep all the PYREX in the kitchen.
Sorry to hear you're going through so much in life, hope everything will start to pick up now and best wishes to your wife and mom.
Thank you, things are defiantly getting better.
Good news! I hope everything will work out for you and your loved ones.
Thanks, we will get through it.
