If I Must Choose... I Choose Wealth

Hmm, this question is hard o. Like, seriously really hard ,Because who wouldn’t want unlimited free time? The idea of waking up anytime, doing whatever you like without having to worrying about work or stress is sweet abeg. But yeah if I must choose just one either the unlimited free time or unlimited money I won’t lie o , I am definitely going for the money. Yes, wealth.

Why? Because as it stands now, I already have time on my hands , it might not be "unlimited" time, but time still dey you know what I mean right?. The problem is that I don’t always have the money to do the things I want to do with that time , and that is the major problem and it can be really frustrating , You have ideas, dreams, and things you want to achieve but you keep hearing, “no money.” Sometimes, I just sit down and think about all the things I could have done or achieved if money was not just holding me back.

Like I have always wanted to travel , Not necessarily to go and "jaye" that is to chop life up and down nah…., but to explore , to meet people, experience new cultures, maybe even learn something new you know , But you check your account balance and it is telling you to sit down where you are lol… Or when you want to eat something good . Like really spoil yourself with food that you didn’t cook or didn’t buy on the street, but you remember you are trying to manage money till the end of the month, Omo the struggle is very real

I also think about my education, How I want to finish school without carrying the burden of fees or wondering where the next payment is going to come from , you get that kind of thing right?....If I had unlimited money, all of that would be sorted. I wouldn’t have to delay or pause things because of money issues i would just move with ease, focused on my goals.

And then the biggest reason why I will choose wealth is my kids ,I want to give my children a good life. Not a perfect life, but one where their basic needs are never in question, school fees paid without any struggle ,healthy food on the table ,Clothes that fit. Opportunities to explore their talents without “there’s no money” blocking them. That is what I want , I want to be the kind of parent who can give their child a soft life, not just with words but with real support.

And I am not even talking about being a billionaire and buying private jets even though I won’t mind o! But really, I want the kind of money that gives peace of mind you get? The kind of wealth that allows me to help others too, invest in ideas, support causes I care about, and still live comfortably , That, to me, is a blessing.

So yes, free time is sweet. It is peaceful and all ,but if I have the wealth, I believe I can create time for myself.
