The Truth About Money: Is It Good or Evil?

People often say, “Money is the root of all evil.” But is that really true? When we look at our daily lives, we can see that money itself is not evil. It’s how people use it that matters. In fact, money can be both good and bad depending on the heart and actions of the person holding it.

Let’s be honest: money is very important in our world today. It helps us buy food, pay rent, go to school, and even take care of our families. Without money, life can be very hard. But we must also ask, how do people get money in the first place? In most cases, people get money in one of three ways: by offering value (through work or business), by inheritance (from family or relatives), or by stealing (through dishonest means).

Of these three, offering value is the most honourable. If you work hard, run a business, or use your skills to help others, then you deserve the money you earn. Inheritance is not bad either. It just means you were born into a family that had something to pass down. But stealing or using others to get money is where the evil truly comes in.

The truth is, money is just a tool. It is a means of exchange. If it can’t be used to buy or trade, then it’s as useless as paper. Money only becomes meaningful when it can serve a purpose. That’s why no matter how much money someone has, it must flow. It must be used to create value or solve problems.

Now, imagine if everyone had plenty of money. Would society still function well? Would people still be willing to work or help each other? It's a deep question. If everyone was rich, there might be a lack of order because structure comes from the fact that people play different roles, some teach, some clean, some cook, some build. If everyone stopped working because they had money, the system could break down.

Another issue is how money affects the way people are treated. In many communities, if you don’t have money, your opinion may not matter much. People often listen more to someone with wealth, even if they are not the most knowledgeable. That is unfair, but it happens all the time. You might be wise and have great ideas, but if you can’t show success through money, people might ignore you.

Money also affects relationships, especially in marriage. I once spoke with a friend whose wife earns more than he does. Even though his wife is respectful, he feels the need to prove he is still the head of the family. He struggles with the idea that his wife brings more to the table. He wants to be in control, even though she contributes more financially.

I advised him to calm down and focus on peace. Marriage is a partnership. Just because your wife earns more doesn't mean you are less of a man. Leadership is not just about money. It's about wisdom, respect, and making decisions that benefit everyone. If you work together as one, life becomes easier. But when pride gets in the way, it creates problems.

In conclusion, money is not evil. It simply reflects the heart of the person using it. It can build homes, pay hospital bills, and change lives. But it can also destroy relationships, make people proud, and cause division. The key is to use money wisely, remain humble, and remember that money is not the final goal, peace, love, and purpose.

I don't know if all women are like that... But in reality, humans are more prone to you know, talk down on you when they think you don't do enough or have enough. It has happened to me for years.
