Mercy: The Quiet Strength of Survival

Mercy is when you cannot even explain how you are surviving as a person, but for sure you are surviving. You don't have everything figured out, but every day God is showing up for you, and you don't have a choice than to thank God for it. Some people understand that the situation they are in is by the mercy of God.

While some people feel and take it for granted. With mercy, there is enough encouragement, provision even when you need it, and God always shows up quietly and powerful at the same time. Mercy is not a fireworks, it's not something that Hollywood can even explain or made a movie depiction of it.

Mercy might look like a steady hand at your back, helping you through life. It can be a timely word, it can be a closed door when there are more terrible wars out towards them. When life is looking like a chain of events that looks like more and more unanswered questions are coming your way.

Mercy makes life very soft. Persistent answer is that you can wake up and find a meal is in front of you, or a call has come through. Mercy can actually help you to look back and you will see a pattern of provision, whereas if not for mercy, you would do it all alone.

There are levels to seeing the mercy of God, though it can feel mysterious because it resists tidy explanation. You may not be able to trace the causal effect of mercy, it is something that is a little bit kind of spiritual, and that's the point. The place of mercy is teaching dependence and humility, just when you cannot explain what is happening.

Mercy bridge the gap. You can acknowledge if you want, not everybody acknowledge mercy at all time. Not everybody is visible enough to see it.

Some are not even Christian enough to attribute the help of God to him. Some take it for granted. And why does mercy matter in the life of a man? Even if you are not a Christian, we already know that we can beg a church in a court to tender justice with mercy.

So mercy is something that you can see in the hand of God and also in the hand of man. How do you even notice mercy? The first thing is when you slow down, then you look back, then you see some pattern of help from above that is far beyond your ability. Just know that that is mercy.

When you can actually say it out loud. Some people can recognize the mercy of God immediately they see it and they will call it out and thank God for it or they will even thank their luck. Through stories we also learnt that there are mercy in some people's life and it does reinforce the reality of their life into becoming a better person or greater human.

In the Christian point of view, silence and prayer to God in the area of mercy can actually be a thing. Living into mercy means that life is responding to you well and you are receiving it. Mercy goes a long way in dealing with you and making sure that your life is actually secured to the best of everyone's knowledge.

That is how beautiful mercy is.
