Focus Is the Ultimate Competitive Advantage
Why is our competitors always a distraction to us?? to answer this, I choose to write about it. Most of the time, I will just be worrying about my competitors, how I can compete an win all the customers,sometimes I will wonder what they are doing to get more customers. As time goes on i discovered that those time I spend thinking about my competitors was actually a waste of time After few days I stated focusing my mind fully on my business not on my competitors again, I didn’t care if they exist or not. It really helped me. 
Distraction is the main reason why people lose their ambition. The truth is that one of the greatest agent of distraction to me was also social media, endless notifications and using it to always compare myself with others I see online, this was bad,I will call it a trap. Actually the fact is that it wasn't my competitors that were to be blame for my distraction that time but it was just lack of focus. I personally cannot say differently, each of my breakthroughs was the result of my ability to focus on my business for some period.
Momentum went very fast when I cut off social apps, stopped looking at what others were doing, and committed completely to my plan. I found out that I made more progress when I was quitetly focus on my business. Focus is so important because it is the only thing that turns scattered energy and displaced energy into a force of nature. No one can realize even the best ideas without focus.Most of the books I read do say thay the successful peoplw in this life are not always the inteligent ones, but rather they are the ones that can focus really on one particular thing. Without fail they are able to lock in and steadily move the ball forward. Focus is never a one day thing or what you just wake up in the morning and start becoming focus, it is a habit that grows layer by layer, each day of undistracted work adding to the previous one and thus ensuring exponential progress. On the other hand, distraction robs you of progress pushing you at square one again and again. The discipline of focus works as a competitive advantage only because it isn’t easy to come by. An average person as I used to so before doesn’t resist the temptation to check, scroll, and compare, thus gets caught in this never ending cycle of distraction. They spend their time watching the progress of others whereas they could be developing themselves. Choosing to focus makes you to be powerful and distinct from the others. You neither defend against distractions nor lose your ground so instead take the offensive toward achieving your goals. I will conclude with this, that if you are willing to be a winner, then you have to stop worrying about your competitors, forget them, assume they exist but not relevant to you. It is also of no use to you to measure yourself against timelines that are out of your control. What you can do is you working on your focus the areas you can control. Getting rid of the distractions, carrying out your plan and letting consistency do the rest. Eventually, focus is not just a component of the game it is the game itself.
