UFO Silver From Cameroon, Silver Prices Holding Steady At $93!

Today I wasn't sure if I was going to have time to put together a post or not. I've been busy taking care of some work details, and fine tuning all of the paperwork associated with it. I managed to get it done a little early so I decided to finish up a post I had started to assemble some time back. If you were a fan of the "X Files", this post if for you!
While searching for an item on eBay I got this coin pictured above as a recommendation. I think mainly because it's silver, and I do search that topic fairly often. This is kind of a bizarre one Troy ounce silver coin that comes from Cameroon, a nation well known for commemorative coin production.

What I found bizarre about the post on eBay was the title, talk about inaccurate.... Here's the title:

First off, the last time I checked this is from Cameroon, not Ghana. Now I get the aliens bit, but Roswell makes no sense with the landscape on the coin. Nor does the coin mention Roswell... Also the coin was minted in 2023, not 2022, so I'm not sure what this seller was smoking or drinking when they posted it, because it's all messed up!
The one thing they got right was pricing, silver is at $93.10 as of writing and this coin is sold out on most major metals sellers. They have it priced at $134.95 or best offer, more than I would pay for it that much is for sure, but not an outlandish price.

Silver is holding steady and still likely to surpass $100 in the next week, so keep your eyes on that silver market!
As for "I Want to Believe", I love the X Files. It was a fun show! Do I believe in aliens? I haven't seen one so probably not. Have I seen a UFO (now called unidentified aerial phenomena or UAP)? Yes I have, and I have no explanation as to what it was. So I do believe in them, however, I have no idea what they really are. I think it's an area that needs a lot more study, and the US government has taken a new interest in them as they could be a national security risk. Maybe someday we'll figure out what they are and where they're from...

Sonoran Desert
The landscape you see represented on the coin from Cameroon is the Sonoran Desert which is found in southern Arizona and northern Mexico. How do I know? The saguaro cactus is a dead giveaway as that is their natural home range. I lived in Tucson, Arizona for a period of time and really fell in love with the Sonoran desert. It really is one of kind, and a great place to vacation. Summer can get pretty hot, so I recommend winter, spring or late fall in you choose to visit. You won't regret it!

I've been to Roswell a couple of times, there is a really cool Alien Museum that is worth the visit if you're ever passing through. It's a pretty good sized city, much bigger than I anticipated when I first visited. The crash site is located outside of the city and is easy to find with a quick internet search. But to be honest, there really isn't much to see there except flat open desert. But it is pretty!

Yeah, X-Files was cool for its time. Still find myself watching a re-run occasionally. Only because I thought Scully was hot. Anyway, not sure if I believe other life forms wouldn't exist in such a large universe. However, if they have the intelligence and tech to travel across deep space, we might be screwed if they are anything like us.

I still watch it on streaming from time to time, selecting episodes that I like. They are doing a complete reboot soon with an all new cast, it will be interesting to see if they have the chemistry needed to make it work. Gillian Anderson was hot when she was younger!
There is intelligent life out there, but crossing the vastness of space is a daunting task. There would have to be a reason that is worth that journey and I don't think we have much to offer in all honesty. If they are aggressive they might just want to wipe us out before we become competition, but who knows?
If you say it's messed up, I believe you. I don't know anything about that bar!

They sold out on the primary metals markets and carry a premium elsewhere, so there is demand somewhere. Just not from me! I just found the artwork interesting in that it made no sense, living in Tucson I never heard about aliens or UFO's in the Sonoran desert! lol

I didn't pick this one up, price is too high for what it is in my opinion! We definitely aren't alone in a universe as huge as ours, even the galaxy is huge! I've never seen an alien but like I said I have seen a few UAP's (UFO's) and have not idea what they are.

There is alien life for sure, much may not be intelligent but with a universe this big there had to be intelligent life somewhere and might even be common. Interdimensional travel is a fascinating concept and many UAP's seem to use it, we just haven't figured it out yet. Maybe they are stealing our resources, it wouldn't surprise me. But I'm sure there are better sources out there in the galaxy than earth for metals!

In a related topic, I bet Elon Musk is thinking about gold and silver mining around the asteroid belt. That may take another decade or so but if the COMEX cannot deliver and the Chinese unwilling to sell... Maybe if SpaceX can hijack a flying saucer would accelerate the process if he could do a bit reverse engineering.
I loved the X Files, but I didn't watch the reboot when it came out. I only watched the first movie too. I think I just kind of moved on from it after a while. I still think it was quite iconic for the time and a true phenomenon.
I missed a lot of the episodes too later in the series, losing interest as well. I did watch the new episodes they made a few years back, there were a couple hilarious ones. I recently heard they are doing a complete reboot with a whole new cast, that should be interesting. Not sure if it will be any good, the chemistry between Duchovny and Anderson are what made the X Files work in the first place.
Yes, that is very true. I have a feeling I will skip the reboot. I just don't see how it will work the same. Things are much different in TV now with shows like
Supernatural and American Horror story pushing the limits of the genre and the psychological.

I havent ran across any aliens or seen UFOs but it sure in the hell interests me though. I cant fathom there are no one else out there. Especially seeing what some early civilizations were able to do. I watched a show called Project Blue Book on the History Channel a few years ago. I really liked it but unfornately it wasnt renewed.
At least the government is taking them seriously now, we have to figure out what they really are. I have seen three UFO's in my lifetime, once in the 80's and twice in the 90's. I never talked about them back then because only crazy people admitted to seeing them back then, now of course that's changed since the government has stated they are real.
