Another Rocking Three Tune Tuesday!

It's been awhile since I published a music post focused more on some hard rock bands. Particularly, the more contemporary music, but today I am in the mood for some great rock n' roll. I know many other authors tend to create a central theme to focus around, and I've done so in the past as well. But today is all about just having fun, I think often we forget to make life fun enough!

Five Finger Death Punch

Forming in Las Vegas, Nevada in 2005, this heavy metal band have become a legend in the industry. Since then they have released nine studio albums and been on multiple world tours. Today I chose a fun song off of their 2020 album called F8, and the song is called "Inside Out":

Bad City

This band from Chicago, Illinois was a very short lived one. Although the early roots started in 2008 they only became really active in 2010. And by 2011 they disbanded... They only released one album but were supported heavily by Billy Corgan who is the lead singer of The Smashing Pumpkins. They had a great heavy metal sound with a glimmer of the old glam rock mixed in, but like many bands, they didn't last. Here's "Take Me For A Ride":

The Pretty Reckless

This band from New York City formed in 2009 and is fronted by Taylor Momsen. She started out as a child actress starring in Jim Carey's "How the Grinch Stole Christmas" as Cindy Lou Who. They are a great heavy metal band and currently working on the fifth studio album. This song came off their debut album in 2010 called Light Me Up and is called "Make Me Wanna Die":

Shakira

Okay, I'm the first to admit that Shakira isn't the first person to come to mind when you think of heavy metal. But she is a big fan of AC/DC and will periodically add this classic song from 1980 into her concerts. It starts slow, but then the guitars kick in, and as always, she looks great doing it, so enjoy some "Back In Black":
