Saturday Savers Club HIVE Growth Log #1
This is the first time I've attempted a post like this, so please bear with me!
Backstory
To be honest, when I first joined Hive I was only really interested in the rewards for posting. I joined a bunch of communities that I thought would inspire me to create content and, in turn, make me a bunch of money. But recently I've learned to change my perspective a bit, which is the awesome effect of spiritual and personal growth.
I took an almost 2 year long hiatus from posting on Hive, using that time to rediscover myself as a person, and what I wanted out of my life. During this hiatus, I discovered a passion for Formula 1 and GT3 racing after finding a GT3 Sim Racing game for Xbox. While I'm not the best at the game yet, I have become quite obsessed with the sport, and have started writing about it as a result!
As of a month ago, I officially started posting to Hive again, but this time I had a new purpose behind my writing. While I am still interested in the rewards that Hive brings to the table, my primary focus is to become a more productive member of the Hive Blockchain and Communities within it, while creating more engaging content and building my reputation as an aspiring motorsports journalist.
I will still be posting about other topics that I am passionate about, such as Sim Racing and Gaming, Gardening, Cannabis, and Myrmecology (the study of ants), as well as these Hive growth reports that will double as my weekly Saturday Savers Club post, which leads us to why I'm writing this in the first place.
My HIVE Growth Log
While posting for the rewards is no longer my main concern on the Blockchain, I do want my blog to continue to grow, and my ultimate goal is to become a Hive Dolphin within the Ecosystem! I decided to start this HIVE Growth Log to help me keep track of the progress I've made each week towards reaching the Hive Dolphin level, as well as the short term goals I'll be sharing in just a moment.
“First Month Back” Content and Rewards Totals
Since I've started writing again, the majority of my posts were about the 2025 GT World Challenge America series and the 2025 Formula 1 races. These first few posts didn't see many rewards come in, but I really didn't expect much as I have no experience writing about motorsports and these first few blogs were honestly pretty rough.
Either way, I've made a total of 15 posts (now 16) to various communities, and 13 comments/replies to other users since March 23rd. I don't think that's too bad for the most part, but it definitely shows that I need to get better about interacting with my fellow Hiveans!
Rewards Report:
I didn't think about taking screenshots of anything before a few days ago, but I have been trying to go through the history of my Hive wallet to figure it out! Between March 23 and March 31, I had gained approximately 1.898 HP in author/curator rewards that increased my total from 606.864 HP to 608.761 HP.
Then today on April 25, I claimed a total of 3.376 HP, 0.248 HBD, and 0.659 HBD in interest on my savings to add to that total, for a total of 5.477 HP. While this isn't anything to brag about by any means, it still counts as growth in my opinion!
Current HIVE Goals, Totals, & Progress (As of April 25, 2025)
Primary Goal = 1000 HP
First and foremost, I decided to start out with a relatively small goal of 1000 HP to get me started, and I'm not really sure how long it will take to get there. Either way, I do think it's a reasonable and attainable goal to set for myself. Secondly, I would like to increase my liquid total of HBD to 25, mainly just to use throughout the year for Power-Ups, but this isn't necessarily a goal I'm striving to achieve.
Progress Made = + 5.477 HP, + 0.248 HBD
As I detailed in the previous section, during my first month back at Hive, I have earned a total of 5.477 HP, and 0.248 HBD in rewards that have been added to my account, bringing my totals up to the following:
Total = 7.115 HIVE (Liquid), 612.341 HP, 23.881 HBD (Liquid), 50.658 HBD (Savings)

Unfortunately, after claiming these rewards my total amount of vests stayed at 1,021,232, which is still a pretty good way away from the minimum of 10,000,000 vests I will need to become a Hive Dolphin.

After I noticed that, I decided to convert 3.881 HBD to HIVE (bringing my total down to 20) in order to start a Power-Up!
Dolphin Tracker = only 8,978,768 vests to go!

My plan for next week is to use all my liquid HIVE to Power-Up on May 1st for HPUD, because I might as well start participating in that as often as I can! That should also give me a few more vests to add to the Dolphin Tracker as well! Other than that, I really don't have a plan for the HBD in my account as of yet. For the most part, I think I'll use it primarily to power up randomly through the year, but again, I'm not really sure, so if you have any other suggestions, let me know!
Token Staking
Another thing I've started being more conscious about is saving, and learning more about, the various tokens on the Blockchain. I'm ashamed to admit that I don't know much about them, but I do understand that certain tokens support various communities and that these communities offer them as rewards on posts.
Regardless of my lack of knowledge, I decided to start staking some of the tokens that I plan to support during my Hive journey, and hopefully the communities that are built around them. I didn't take any screenshots of my this actions, and I know that they are all public actions that can be viewed on HiveStats, HiveBlocks, etc., but I will be taking screenshots to use from here on out!
Token Staking Report (March 23 - April 25, 2025)
Game Specific Communities
These are the games coming to the blockchain that I'm most interested in and are also 2 of my highest staked coins which, thanks to the staking rewards, will just continue to grow!

Coin | Amount Staked | Total Stake |
---|---|---|
CCD | +1,224 | 9,500 |
ZING | +16 | 10,241 |
Community Coins
Honestly, the only coins that I've personally purchased out of these community coins are the EDSMM, which mine EDSI, and in return reward you with Hive payouts every Monday. These coins are a part of the SPInvest community of tokens, so I should probably look into and start saving the other tokens in the family.
All the other tokens listed below were earned from rewards, but are ones that I have decided to continue to support and grow with moving forward.
Coin | Amount Staked | Total Stake |
---|---|---|
EDSMM | + 0 | 10 |
CENT | + 4.959 | 5 |
HUSTLER | + 13.663 | 13.663 |
LEO | + 10 | 60 |
NEOXAG | + 352.61 | 500 |
PIMP | + 12.348 | 20 |
PHOTO | + 0 | 87.81 |
POB | + 200 | 200 |
SPORTS | + 18,955 | 20,000.438 |
VYB | + 34.582 | 175 |
WEED | + 1,036 | 4,000 |
Other Community Coins
These coins are ones that I will be looking into more, but will most likely be holding and staking long-term, if possible. Again, I'm still unsure of how all the Tokenomics of Hive work, but I'll be doing deep dives into all of these coins and ensuring they are all projects I want to support moving forward.
Coin | Total Liquid | Total Stake |
---|---|---|
ALIVE | 0.099 | 8.576 |
BBH | 9 | N/A |
BIT | 15,323 | N/A |
CTP | 0.578 | 0 |
GM | 55.2 | N/A |
PAL | 0.112 | 4.1 |
PGM | 22.008 | 1.122 |
STEM | 0.961 | 0.961 |
I'm still learning how the Hive Token Economy works so I'll be trying to deep dive into that here soon just to try and learn as much as I can about the coins I have. If anyone has any suggested posts to help point me in the right direction I would truly appreciate it!
Looking Forward
Since this blog will technically be for my Saturday Savers Club post, I would like to start providing a Hive Growth update once a week to keep me inspired and motivated to reach my HIVE Growth Goals!
The format of this blog might change moving forward as I try to keep all my thoughts and goals clear and concise, but the focus will always be on what steps I have taken throughout the week to continue my growth as a Hive content creator! I appreciate the time you took to read my post, and I'll see you next week for the new update!
