Changing Environment, Changing Mindset: How Moving Transformed My Perspective.

Living in an undeveloped place can give you some kind of aura sometimes because I feel if you have not tried something different, you will not be able to tell which will be the best for you or a better one for you. Trying something new gives you the ability to determine if one thing is good for you or not. There is always a saying that if you have not tried someone else's fatherland out, you will think your father's land is the biggest. This word soothes everything in every area because your brain and thinking will be limited to one aspect of life.

Ever since I left my parents home, it has been one struggle after another. During this struggle, I have met a lot of people and a lot of things with different ideas that are very different from my own. I learn, unlearn, and relearn to become a better version of myself, but one thing is always certain: once you are ready to learn new things, your brain is ready too; you just have to make sure that you are intentional about it because your brain is used to one aspect of life compared to what you are giving to it now.

For some years I was living in a student area, and when I mean a student area, it is a place dominated by 80% students. Definitely you will know that most of what they do there will be mainly student-like things. There is no way you can have a business of your own and stand so strong because once there is vacation, most students travel back home to meet their parents and enjoy their holidays. This affected those of us that hardly travel home because we won't be able to get anything once the holiday has started until the school resumes.

When we eventually graduated, most people started moving to a very different place to start a new life of their own. Then some of my friends will advise me to leave the student area because it will reduce the way I view things and the way I think about life. Then I decided to try a new apartment downtown. Actually, it was not easy because I was not staying in town, and I had to go downtown every day to secure a new apartment so I could change my environment.

After doing my research, I eventually got an accommodation. After staying there for just 3 days, I began to notice the difference between staying in a more advanced place and a modernized place. I buy things easily with a low budget, and I get something even better than what I was used to before. I get access to things I can eat without stress, and I am able to get different options for things. Going out this morning, I noticed lots of business ventures had opened up their enterprises compared to where I was staying before. I got to the main road, and I saw lots of people going out for their daily activities. This is what I love to see, as this is what I have been used to. Now I am starting another life and getting better every day.
