RE: Commit It To Memory!
You are viewing a single comment's thread:
John 3:16 is one of the first Scriptures to be recited by anyone in the children's department growing up.
Philippians 4:8 was our yearly memory verse of which we recites every year as a youth in the ladies department.
Alot of old pentecostal churches had that habit of creating a way to instill memory verses by making it a fun way for children therefore making it a habit as you grow.
You talked about the different versions or translations of the Bible, especially now that technology has taken over, is there a specific translation you mostly recommend?

I'm a King James Version (KJV) guy. Not that I think it's the only 'true' translation, it's just the one I feel most comfortable in. I do read the NKJV sometimes as well.
Yes me too KJV or NKJV although I don't have hard copy at the moment because my luggage was stolen from me. I intend to get another but for now my softcopy is NIV.
Thank you so much
