I must confess, am a little bit thrown back, I simply don't want to get confused just as u said that most person's might counteract you. I guess I have to go back and study for myself.
Going back to the fact that we have to take care of our flesh, it's truly important because our body itself is the temple of the Holy Spirit, in as much as we are taking care of the physical let's not also forget about our spiritual.

The spiritual is paramount as well, Paul writes a lot about taking care of your relationship with God
