I'm @techstyle how are you doing today, fasten your seat belt, I'm taking you along the memory lane a true life story of mine. 18 April 2026 is a day to remember.

Life does not always play out the way we expect. No matter how carefully we plan, it can be difficult to predict what lies ahead or what the next moment may bring. Sometimes, in just a few seconds, everything can change.

It was on a faithful Saturday morning when I left home, just as I usually did, heading to my place of work. The day started like any other normal day. Work went smoothly, and by 2 p.m., I had completed my duties and prepared to return home. Feeling satisfied after a productive day, I made my way to the bus park and boarded a bus heading to my hometown. I paid for my seat and sat comfortably in the front of the vehicle.

A few minutes later, the bus was full. The driver started the engine, and we began our journey. It was supposed to be a simple 45-minute drive home. Everything seemed normal, and no one expected what would happen next.

About five minutes before reaching the final bus stop, the driver stopped to drop off a passenger. Because it was raining heavily, he decided to cross over and park by the roadside to help unload the passenger’s luggage. He stepped out of the bus to assist.

Within seconds, everything changed.

A bus was approaching from the opposite direction. Instead of staying in its lane, it suddenly swerved off the major road and crashed directly into our bus. The impact was terrifying and unexpected.

I found myself trapped inside the vehicle. My leg was stuck, and I could not pull it out. Panic filled the air as people screamed and struggled to escape. With the help of nearby people and passengers, I was eventually able to free my leg. When I finally got out, I realized I could barely walk. Blood covered parts of my body, and many passengers around me were also injured and bleeding.

Despite the pain and confusion, I managed to gather strength and get myself to the hospital for treatment. It was one of the most painful and frightening experiences of my life.

That day reminded me how fragile life can be. A journey that started like every other normal trip suddenly turned into a life-changing experience. Sometimes, we leave home not knowing what the day may bring, but moments like this teach us gratitude, resilience, and the importance of life itself.

Looking back, I am deeply thankful to God for survival and for the gift of life. It was truly a journey I will never forget.
