This report is an overview of the effect of common mood stabilizers. The mood stabilizers such as lithium are highly toxic drugs used to treat what psychiatric call manic depression now referred to as bipolar disorder.
Lately, Lithium has become less used in favour of the newer, more expensive antipsychotics.
I discovered this book has an important role to play in over coming mood stabilizers side effects, now it's important to Note that reading this article is not a fair ground to stop intake of drugs instantly based on the information been provided here.
It's very advisable to seek the advice of a medical doctor or health practitioners before stopping the intake of any drug for your health conditions.

"INTRODUCTION"
In the introduction of the mood stabilizers the book took *Allison's as a case study to illustrate the Lithium effects, from the story of Allison from midway through her eight grades, she encountered a drop on her grades, not to mention her interest in socialising and in music also declined.
Here condition was so terrible that she also find it comfortable laying on the bed staring at the wall. This case took her to be diagnosed with depression and was place on the high dosage antidepressants, it result to effect of mood swung to "high" and shortly afterwards, Allison was diagnosed again with "bipolar" and prescribe Lithium.
With constant in take of antidepressants combination her shortness of breath set-in addition to increase in heartbeat and high blood pressure.
Bipolar formally called "manic depression" was considered an adult problem from the on set, rather now Bipolar has been popularised as children diagnosis by Harvard University psychiatrist *Joseph Biederman from the 1990s.
Noticed also that many expert agree with the fact that because there were no lab tests to comfirm the psychiatric disorder presence or it's absence, as well as psychiatric diagnoses such as bipolar are speculative and unscientific

I can read the minds of most readers who couldn't understand the concept of mood stabilizers.

We can understand that the reverse is the case now,

Yeah it's not so familiar to most people, especially non medical practitioners.
✅True
Lithium is a very strong and potentially dangerous medication used for bipolar. That's why anyone on lithium usually has blood tests done regularly.... This can vary from weekly to 3 monthly, depending on the dosage and the presence of other illnesses.
There are a lot of other medications that are used for the management of bipolar disorder that seem to be quite effective as well.
But, research is still on going to find what would be most effective with the least amount of side effects.
