RE: [ENG/ITA] Easy Doesn't Mean Ineffective

Another angle on the Hive side is to buy Hive, power it up with the aim of converting to HBD when (if) Hive appreciates, thus capturing the return in one transaction rather than 15% over the year. I think it is more likely that Hive appreciates by more than 15% in the next 12 months, but of course nobody has a crystal ball.
I don't know what the return on powered up Hive is ,but it's at least a baseline return, but maybe you keep the Hive liquid to better catch shorter spikes ?

The return on powered up HIVE is around 10-11% (3% staking rewards + 7-8% curation rewards), so it's definetely appealing.
As always, I like your idea... and you made me change my mind ahahah 🤣 I'll convert DEC to HIVE, and wait for a better moment to convert HIVE to HBD.
The only aspect I still have to consider is if I want to power up that HIVE or keep it liquid: because I don't want to start a power down on my main account, but if I power up HIVE on a different one, then powering it down when I'm going to need it would require ages... so I have to choose wisely and see if I can find a solution to this particular problem.
It's the Hive Mind, I am equally inspired and entertained by your content :-)
Yes, the Hive to HBD trade is tricky and can be completely messed up if you can't strike at the right moment, another issue is the price in the internal markets does not always reflect the quoted price, even the liquidity pools can give a bad rate at times, so you'll need a good margin of safety, no point making the trade with a 10% difference very often.
I have a feeling though, that at current prices, it is not going to be TOO difficult to catch Hive at 50% above current price, at least sometime in the next 12mts,
My problem is keeping focus, sticking with conviction to my strategy and not forgetting it in a month and raiding my resources to fund something else ( err..CA packs !!..lol!). I write things down in a note book to remind me, but sometimes the original conviction is overwhelmed by some current excitement.
You seem to be good at staying disciplined, that is a great trait to have
It might be the only thing I'm good at, perhaps, when it comes to trading and crypto in general 🤣
It's truly one of the best feature of Hive, the ability to share our ideas and opinions so easily with others :)
I'm going to follow this path and hold on my HIVE (converted from DEC) untill HIVE's price is above 0.25$ and, possibily, close to 0.30$.
And meanwhile I'll keep converting DEC into HIVE as long as the price is below 0.24$.
Then, I'll convert HIVE into HBD and enjoy some passive income (or into DEC if I find something to add to my collection!).
