So far,So Good

The other day, i was watching a reel in which i got to read a line;
Optimistic people always say; "So far, So Good"
In other words, i am trying to quote that i am an optimistic person, and i am grateful for whatever this year has gifted to me. I lived full moments that i got in this year.

On the night of 31 December, 2024- I can never forget and forgive that horrifying night. I assume, horrifying would be a good word to use as my mother was not well. There were so many doubts in my mind running wild. I wanted her to be all fine and okay. I wanted to see her smile always in front of my eyes, and i still want this smile.

On 31st December, we were not celebrating the new year night, instead we were in hospital and my mother was going through checkup of Breast Cancer. I can not justify with my words as my emotions can never be fully expressed through words but i was badly messed up. My eyes were in full pain and my heart was constantly asking for help from Almighty Allah. I was constantly praying for positive reports and signs from doctor. I was praying for miracles to happen. My mother's eyes were also expressing long stories, wishes and desires of her life. My mother, innocent and pure soul.

Long story short, I was not happy with the year and with all those celebrations because of my mother illness. I was not feeling okay until reports came home. Reports cleared all doubts and she is fine,Alhumdulillah(By the Grace of Almighty Allah). From that day, I felt, a new year of hope and a bright, good year to start life.

Then i started feeling good, once i found out that my Mama is okay. Indeed it was a miracle. On daily basis, I pray for good health of my parents. They are my lifeline.

My university started with a snowy trip after the vacations of new year. It was such a pleasant start. Travelling is my hobby and my favorite thing to do on this planet. It is my source of dopamine and an escape from the haphazard lifestyle.
Other than this particular trip, I traveled to many historical and tourists places that i enjoyed a lot. I have gained a lot of knowledge about history, architecture and learned a lot about people of different regions. It is all thanks to the first quarter of the year and the travel i had.

Other than traveling, i can say that first quarter of the year passed in just celebrating birthdays. From January to even this month of April, I am engaged in celebrating birthdays of my loved ones. Interestingly, my own birthday month is February. It won't be wrong to say that the first quarter of the year is dedicated to birthdays of my loved ones.

I am so thankful to first quarter of the year that brought good people in my life. I made good friends with pure and genuine heart.
