Let me take you to 18 June

You may have noticed that I often post a lot of Birthday Celebrations in Throwback Thursday. Actually, it's all because we are five friends and our birthdays fall in five different months of the year.

Meet this birthday person named Basit, who is part of our group, a good classmate and a good friend of mine who often fights with me over many small things, but I never mind him.

I will take you to June 18, 2025, which was Basit's birthday.It has been the custom of our group that whoever has a birthday, we save up our money and give the birthday person a sweet and nice surprise treat at a nice restaurant. Though that birthday person know that some type of gossip is going on for his/her birthday party.

We also choose the restaurant according to the birthday person's taste and take into account his/her preferences in food so that special person can feel something special on that special day.
We chose "Bait Al Arab Mandi Restaurant" for Basit's Birthday keeping in mind that Basit likes Desi cusinine. He isn't in favour of fast food or any other lavish restaurants. Still, this place was lavish, homely but costly too 😆.
We missed Arshia...She couldn't make it that day. She was busy at home and stuck in a situation there. But, we missed her.

See everything was Desi....Desi
I loved it.
While having dinner, we made jokes that is mandatory and compulsory part of our discussion. We were also tensed about our upcoming exams that are finished now. We also talked about graduation day, that also has happened and we lived. Back then, we were worried and tensed about upcoming things. Now, if I look back at that day, all those events have happened and became a matter of past.
Oh.... such lovely days and birthdays in these four years. I will surely remember.

Another full of laughter event was ordering an alien cuisine from Arabic culture named Kanefa. We just heard about it but never tasted it.
Anita made long speeches that Kanefa is this and Kanefa is that..... A long speech loading......

We felt Fear of missing out. We ordered Kanefa.
What then?
It was served and we clapped Happy birthday and treated it like Birthday Cake as it was sweet dish.
Now,
It was time to taste.
It was like butter, Vermicelli, Cheese and I don't know 😂. It was different.

Yet we were into devouring it cause we paid for it. Well, I will miss my cat fights with my food partner, my bestie Sabiha.
Bill came and I died 😂.

Later on, we strolled in the market but Sabiha was still acting childish (nothing new) 😆.
