Spicy And Tasty Plantains Barbecue 🍌🌶🧅

Happy mid-week and hope everyone is doing great enjoying good health. Today, am sharing another recipe from this delicious food plantains 🍌. Spicy 🌶 And Tasty Plantains Barbecue.
Plantains Barbecue because of how this recipe is exactly made by roasting in the oven to become like a roasted chicken, beef 🥩 or fish, and garnished with mix spices for a delicious vegan delight finishing.
Making this plantains barbecue taught me of how we can truly make many meaningful meals from plantains, and not just the ordinary frying we enjoy so much that brings and adds calories to our body due to frying with oil.

Its a quick simple meal, but one you will love as lunch even for family. The best stage of plantains for this recipe is green plantains or half ripped plantains that will roast and stay strong for satisfying and deliciousness.
Below are quick and simple steps for this recipe.
INGREDIENTS (one serving )

1 large plantain ( half ripped)
1/2 of a large red onion
1 large red fresh chili pepper
1 teaspoon of chili powder
1/4 teaspoon of salt
1 teaspoon of margarine 🧈
STEPS FOR PREPARATION:
Step 1.


Simple and straightforward, we start by cutting off the ends of the plantains and peel above.


Then we slash and straight cut it open equally in size.
Step 2.



We sprinkle some pinch of salt and chili powder all around the plantains
Step 3.


Next, we keep it on a rack and into the oven here.

And we roast the plantain for 30 - 35 minutes to properly crips up.
Step 4.

We wash and slice the onions , fresh red chili and onions stem while the plantain is roasting above .

As above.
Step 5.

We add the chopped onions, chili and onions stem in a little bowl. add some salt and chili .

Add the margarine and mix all together
Step 6.




Once the plantain is roasted and ready, we add the mix margarine spice sauce on it.


Then back into the oven for another 2 minutes to glaze up from heat.

This delicious meal 🥘 needs to be served hot if we really want to enjoy it satisfying because when it becomes cold will harden up. And fior those of us who loves plantains, its good to enjoy it in green plantains for more iron and half ripped for a little sugar energy and for good health.

I have recently been more interested in eating plantains. We Canadians normally don't eat them. Now we have more and more available as the country becomes more diverse.
I like this idea. I also like that they are not deep fried for a change.

Truly an amazing meal beautiful. I love plantains so much while growing up because my mother had a plantains farm .
Am happy you can now try it out among other meals. The unripe and half ripped are the best for we adults because of sugar.
