What an innovations the world 🌎 keeps experiencing when we it cones to self - driving cars 🚘. I could say this is one big huge step to innovation and the extent human mind has gotten to in development. But with this kinds of innovations, many things are supposed to be put into consideration like the environmental factor, centered on where and where these kinds of cars can function properly.

The first time I had of self -driving cars 🚗 I was so fascinated, wondering how lovely 🥰 cars like this can help humans relieve the stress of being on the wheel for almost all the whole day of week, especially with work on the field. And knowing that even those who built this model of cars must have taking out their time to truly build a car that will be so safe, programmed without complications and reliable, so the company will thrive with such an innovative development.

But How Safe :

I know with work, research, updates and changes, a computerized car can not easily go into an accident because it has been programmed to function in a away it will not come in contact with other cars. I mean, maybe because its self -driving, it has been programmed in a way to not come in contact with other cars 🚘. This means that the sensor will monitor the distance of the car and other cars and slow down in the case of traffic and check points since its working on also on speed limit according to program.

Here I could say that these cars has been programmed to drive safely and will always maintain their speed limit unlike human beings who most times over speed on the road without knowing what can happen the next minute as the cars 🚘 we have everywhere does not have sensors nor programmed. So I feel that the human factor is the cause of most accidents on the roads . Some drivers are drunk while driving, others are tied and sleepy but will not stay off the wheel because they want to make money. All these keep resulting to accidents apart from other unforeseen circumstances like tire removal or break damage.

Environmental Issues:

However, the only concern I have here is how these cars might not be able to function properly in some certain environments due to bad rounds, check points and traffics. Like in Nigeria 🇳🇬 here, I doubt if sell-driving cars can function very well due to pot -holes, police check points and the overwhelming traffic congestion. And unless these cars should only be used in some certain roads where they will not encounter bad roads . On roads that are specifically and specially made for it.

It can also be made available for long distance journeys with good roads, and without constantly stoping like other cars driving by humans. This means, those who will purchase them knows where to channel them for operation to avoid environmental problems.

Who Is To Be Blamed?

Both the producers and those that purchased the car should be blamed in the case of an accident depending the kind of accident that occurred. The owner if the car was not properly controlled as regards to instructions from the manufacturer. It could be due to bad road , pot holes or floods .

The manufacturer should be blamed if what caused the accident is a technological factor which shows that the programming is not properly coordinated to help the car dictate problems that can lead to accident.
