Quick And Easy White Onions, Chickpeas And Carrot Salad Recipe (Raw Anti-oxidants)

Happy to be with my vegan home again today, and I tell you that there is nothing like trying out new recipes from our kitchen because that is on thing that helps us in rotating and enjoying different kinds of cuisines .
Weekends are the most important days to me because it allows me time to rest, at the same time, enables me prepare something healthy and delicious in the kitchen without hurrying out. So this Sunday I needed to make some salad but something different from the usual cabbage π₯¬ salad.
This time I prepared a unique salad of white onions π§ chickpeas and carrots π₯. These ingredients are what I found in the pantry and refrigerator. So I can say its one recipe thatβs inexpensive, but one that is new with different flavors.

I love β€οΈ the freshness of this satisfying salad and have made it as a side dish but can also be made as main dish for lunch π₯. Simple, inexpensive, quick to put together and it uses ingredients that we always have on hand.
Below I take you through the process step by step.
INGREDIENTS: ( One Serving)

5 large carrots
1 medium white onions
A half (1/2) cup of fresh chickpeas
1/4 teaspoon of salt
1/4 teaspoon of chili pepper
5 ml of heated up vegetable oil
(Increase quantity accordingly)
STEPS FOR PREPARATION:
Step 1.


First thing to do is to scrap dirts off the carrots above.
Step 2.


Then we thoroughly wash them before we sterilized them . Leaving in a basket to drain.
Step 3.


Next, we slash cut them into flat sizes.


and gradually chop them into cubes above.
Step 4.


We wash and slice our onions
Step 5.



And boil our chickpeas to tender above
Step 6.

And we have the three (3) ingredients readily above.
Step 7,

Next, we add them one by one into the bowl starting with the carrots π₯


We add our onions here above


And then, the chickpeas
Step 8.

To spice it up, we add our salt, chili πΆ pepper, heated up vegetable oil and stir to incorporate.


Here above and serve.

Crunchy and delicious. A recipe that will keep your health boosted with lots of antioxidants and vitamin A. So delightfully enjoyable.

Its all about the benefits of what we are eating for our good health which we desire at all cost. Inexpensive but with multiple supply of vitamins. You will surely love it β€οΈ.

Oh in my country chickpeas are another type of legume and these are called "Green peas". Nice salad btw :)
Oh waoh! Every country has different names for different things. Here we call this beauty chickpeas because of how tender it and delicious it taste in recipes
