No History Has Ever Been Completely A Full Story
Hello Learners, Hope we are all good today enjoying health😍.
History as a subject in the school curriculum during my early schooling days is one subject I hated so much due to how I see it then as long stories that might not have an ending and stories no one has the true beginning. So I always see history as just tales of how did the authors ✍️of which ever books 📕 that we are reading got the complete stories to write and publish to the students to read then. And sometimes, I use to also see history as one compilation story that man needs to keep moving through happenings from generation to generation.
I don’t think there has been any history that is complete nor perfectly told because thinking things through as adults that we are now, I see and believe that everything man has written and authored ✍️is not exactly how it happened. We can then now see history as part of happenings noted by those who was opportune to witness parts of events and those who has the ability to put it in writing for it to continue to spread into generations.
One history I kept analyzing from time to time and will not forget is the history of “Trade By Barter”. When we were studying means of exchange in my early Secondary School days we were meant to understand that “Trade By Better” was one means of exchange used by our great-grandfathers to purchase goods since in those times there was no either coins 🪙 or paper money 💰 that has been established to be used as a means of exchange for purchasing goods.
So with “Trade By Barter, people of then era will take what ever they have to the market to exchange for what they need. This indeed was one biased story due to how I see it as one story that those who told it did not make it a completely perfect story with proof of understanding. How can my great-grandmother needs to get a tuber of yam 🍠, then she has vegetable to exchange for this tuber of yam were we know that a tuber of yam will be costing more than a bunch of spinach 🥦 vegetable?
And how was exchanging of these items involved being estimated to know how people will make sure to bring enough quantity of goods to exchange for what they need? All we were told in class is just how “Trade By Barter was means of exchange before the days of valued money 💴 which made things easier for those of the generation that came after the era of “Trade By Barter.
History continued with such stories and many more others that are full of lies. But as an adult after many years I began to ask many questions. In fact I once asked my mother what she knew about “Trade By Barter” which simply told me of what her mother being my grandmother told her about how they also hard that before proper means of exchange called money 💴 , goods were exchanged for goods. A means that was never easy for era of those generation due to how many where cheated, hunger was more and even people suffer from looking for who will need what they have for exchange. Who was there to see this story?
This is why I see history as something that has never been completely told with full truth and understanding. People are carrying over and over what they have hard and not something they witnessed. As generation keeps evolving, historical tales are being modernized into more tales, especially for those who see it as a means of financial earnings and wealth amassing. And now that we have proper means of exchange, no one needs to ever care if this perception can be changed or corrected.

Yes oo, no history has been a full story
I think maybe they were trying to curb strife amongst younger generations between countries
Which ever way, times are changing things. And research are becoming so prompt.
With the Internet, there is light at the end of the tunnel called quick access to all we need to know.
Thanks for visiting dear friend 😍
Yes , they don't tell us about that maybe there was a scale to measure goods then so they can know the worth of one goods to another but we were not told.
Exactly sis. All we were taught is just about the means of exchange known as “Trade By Barter”
