Homemade Beautiful Braided Loaf Bread Recipe 🥖

The week has been a busy one but today I return to share a special recipe of bread loaf with you, and this time its a beautiful braided bread loaf that looks so inviting that that you might not want to cut it after baking. it.

I actually came across this recipe in the internet while browsing for some unique delicious breads 🥖 to bake because am a bread person and love ❤️ to eat them in different flavors and shapes.

And this very recipe is from the pages of “sustainmycookknghabit”, By Jane and Sonja . A page with lots of delicious recipes.I was so attracted to this braided bread due to how it looks , purely as a work of art 🖼 and that delicious loaf of bread you will just want to keep, but its so tasty with its spongy, soft center and perfectly golden crust that lured me into baking this beautiful loaf to share with my vegan family.

And lightly brushing the dough with a mixture of non - dairy milk and sugar gave the loaf a beautiful shiny golden finish.

Here I take you all through the process with step by step

INGREDIENTS:

400 g wheat flour
1/2 glass of soy banana milk
30 g of premium sugar
11/2 teaspoon of dry yeast
1/2 teaspoon of chili powder
1/4 teaspoon of salt
3 tablespoons of warm water
10 ml of vegetable oil( for fine kneading)

STEPS FOR PREPARATION:

Step 1.

This recipe is simple and straightforward, so we begin by adding the flour in a bigger bowl 🥣 as above.

Then we add the salt, chili powder and stir them together.

Step 2.

We add our dry yeast and sugar here above and stir

Step 3.

Next we measure out the half glass of soy banana milk.

And will add it gradually into the flour here as our liquid for mixing . Adding just some drops of warm water.

Then we stir into a dough.

Step 4.

To knead into a fine dough, we add the vegetable oil to make it easier

And we have our fine kneaded dough.

Step 5.

Next we cut the dough into two and into strips , flour the table for easy of rolling.

And we stretch and roll the dough length wise

Step 6.


To braid the dough, we lay it down, add another rolled dough at the middle, and braid it gradually

And we cover for 20 minutes to increase in size

Step 7.

Once its ready, we take it into the oven and bake the braided loaf 🥖 for 20 minutes



Glazing the loaf with sugar and soy banana liquid milk above , then reheat in the oven for a minute.

Soon after the loaves have cooled a touch, they are so pretty, waiting to be devoured with a cup of coffee ☕️ or tea 🍵, haha 😂 .
