Counting The Ember Months With Fulfillment

2025 has been a year with lots of happenings and that is why the old saying that “No One Knows Tomorrow” will ever remain a saying of decades. For me the first thing I will say to myself is “what a year of gloriousness”

Yes! Gloriousness because at the beginning of this year while making the new year resolutions, we still have to bear in mind that there will always be the unforeseen circumstances that will hinder us or the resolutions we have made, but the goal here is always to keep pushing because I have learned a lot from one Motivational Author ✍️ called Napoleon Hill who in one of his quotes said that “Write It In A Piece Of Paper And Put It At Your Desk Where You Can See It Every Morning That Winners Never Quit And Quilters Never Win.

Its very obvious that how we make our bad is how we lie on it. I have experienced some years with good moments and some others with bad moments, but giving up is loosing which has always been my watch word. I started this 2025 with lots of believe that I will subdue every challenges coming my way because my family and I had a pending quite notice from 2024 to move by June this year. And to tell you guys it was crazy 😝. Houses in Lagos has tripped from 600k 2 bed apartments to 1.8 million, agreement’ and commission exclusive. It was as if it will never end when we started searching for a new place. But to the glory of God , He did what He has to do to take glory.

In all, 2025 will be a year I will never forget in a hurry because it has lots of memories of both good and bad. But one thing am happy for 😃 is life and wellbeing for my entire family and loved ones because its not just about how much money 💰 is in my account or my husband’s account, but that we have counted into the ember months being alive. We encountered sickness but are healthy today because many are sick right now struggling with their lives.

Am also grateful that I have people I can count on called family and friends because its very important we value people around us who are always there when we need them for encouragement despite every struggle we go through to achieving our goals. And as we started counting down the ember month I still have the believe that sone expectations can still be achieved because my daughter also just her admission into her dream university which I believe God’s doing

However, I believe the most is to be focused instead of worrying about things we have not been able to achieve as the year is going . We should count on the things we have achieved while waiting for others that might come or might not which is why feeling fulfilled is all we need at all times. My country Nigeria 🇳🇬 and its leadership is not making things easy as commodities keep hiking in prices costing unexpectedly. But still being focused in all that we do is very important. Am still hopeful that the ember months will bring more abundance before it ends because am not in a hurry to usher in 2026.

In conclusion, am not expecting much from my country Nigeria 🇳🇬 because the leaders do not care about its citizens. It has been survival of the fittest for many years now. Only God intervention can change things.
