darker clouds on the way ...

Yesterday after i brought my wife to work , I noticed more and more dark clouds arround me on the way home , and I decided to stop at a safe spot to take some photos .
While still standing next to the car so that i wouldn't move to much yet so it's almost 360 degrees pictures of the clouds.

This is the same spot where i took some photo's earlier this year of Matricaria and poppy flowers back in Juli .

That direction is home, that looks stil nice blue sky white clouds but ...

but as soon as i turn counter clock wise you see the darker clouds.

and the darker clouds on the left is what is going towards my house

so i better get moving before the rain starts falling .

and one predator was bussy hunting but to far away for me to identify .

And when i got home i did setup my tripod on the balcony waiting for the darker clouds to arrive ...

as you can see , i posted these yesterday in a wave but not every one has seen that

This time i went for 990 photos with an interval of 5 seconds .

the results are 2 timelapse videos of 990 photos each that is +/- 3 hours of photography and when it was finished i only had 18% of battery power left in the camera .

wtf only allowed to post one 3speak video per post ??

that is strange ....

o well then we have to use youtube again ...

part 1:

the next part it actually started to rain luckely both camera and lens are weather sealed .

so part 2 is here :

all photos and videos are created by me @stresskiller all rights reserved .

Those are two nice time-lapse videos! It's a pity that there was no sun at least somewhere in those 3 hours... :)

Cool timelapse. It has been raining in my part of the world for over a week (on and off) now. I have never seen this much rain in late Aug/early Sept.

Yeah, that one 3speak video per post is very limiting. One of the reasons I rarely use it (another reason being the inconsistent encoding times, not sure how much they have improved it though since the last time I used it).

the encoding is a drama indeed almost looks like they still use a Commodore 64 ...

What a beautiful video, my brother! I love this type of content related to the sky and clouds, and I see you're a big fan of it too. Great work, my friend. Hugs to you from afar. I imagine you're feeling better from your surgery! 🙏

wtf only allowed to post one 3speak video per post ??

and that sums up Hive from a users experience. So disjointed!

I subscribed, very similar weather to here, and clouds I can sit and watch them for ages hehe

it's just sad that you can only share 1 clip , yeah i love to make timelapse videos of clouds when i get the chance . I still want to do other projects too but need to recover first.

I should do some timelapse videos of clouds too. That sucks about only sharing one clip. I have often thought of making posts that have shorts in them. So am guessing not possible with threespeak. Thanks for the heads up.

Wow....that’s some serious dedication, 990 shots for a timelapse is no small feat.

The contrast between the blue skies in one direction and the darker storm clouds rolling in is fascinating to watch unfold.

Glad your gear is weather sealed because part 2 looked like the rain really meant business.

Too bad about the one video per post limit on 3speak, it kind of breaks the flow for projects like yours.

Still, both clips turned out great, and I can totally see why you enjoy chasing clouds like this. Keep them coming.💯
