RE: DUO Support Post

You are viewing a single comment's thread:

There is another downside of focussing on HSBI entirely. If you are for whatever reason (sickness, no time, etc) not posting for a while, your yield from those HSBI will plummet. If you hold HP instead, the yield from inflation plus curation is more or less unaffected (if you have autovotes on).

Hive is decentralized and the beauty is that everyone can build his own stake. By spending so much Hive you give your stake to someone else and trust him/her that the service is indeed lifelong.

I love to manually curate here on HIVE, so autovotes would just be an option for me during holidays....
Still I am getting your point since your delegation, because I was able to see what a big chunk of HP makes. Honestly it is so hard to focus on a strategy here on HIVE because so many different ways are possible...

This is not accurate. Members pending upvote balance continues to build through periods of inactivity. We can cap members if they have been inactive for longer than a year, but that's not something we do often.

Hive is decentralized and the beauty is that everyone can build his own stake.

We agree that Hive is a healthier place if members have more personal HP than HSBI.
